Thats why I'm leaning towards the FB's & Amazon's. But what is TR risking if they can get $10M-$15M a year from Amazon to air 4+ fight cards a year?

Then they can PPV out anything real big if things don't fit into that price range via their own website or even still work with HBO with PPV stuff which even HBO seems more focused on overall then there regular HBO programming.

Am I missing something with how the logistics & money could work with something like that from Arum's pocket? It'd basically be like how things work with HBO now except it'd be with a new player in the boxing entertainment business in my mind & Arum isn't putting anything on the line that he isn't putting on the line already.

The biggest question mark on something like this is just about who, if anyone right now, would give $10M, $15M or more to throw some boxing on a streaming service. And hell maybe I'm high balling that number. Maybe Arum would go for a $5M or $8M deal with a streaming service just to enter into a new market.

But I mean that sh^t is happening now. Amazon just paid $50M for 10 NFL games ffs. Boxing WILL be in this market soon.

I am interested to see what Arum does really because he has to do something, but I need to see it going down to believe it is happening because I have heard the same son many times with no payoff.
Definitely me too. Its an interesting time for boxing in general.

Everyone has always appreciated KO's more then smart boxing.

And if boxing fans don't appreciate boxing then boxing needs to change the rules to something that they do appreciate cuz thats a huge problem.

I disagree with what you are saying, but if it is a legit problem you can always alter the rules of boxing, like they've done in the past many times, & make boxing a more exciting sport in ways I've discussed numerous times here. No holding, lighter gloves, some sorta mercy rule or "yellow carding" for Pride fans for one sided or boring fights, improved scoring system, open scoring to entice fans to leave early if promoters don't put on competitive fights costing promoters money for the bs fights, & all sorts of other sh^t I could get into, but the main point being is you can make boxing appeal to more people & more competitive with rule changes like every other sport does & often on a regular annual basis for at least the NFL that I'm aware of.

The Haymon roster is insane & deep. Deeper than a tall fat girls vagina.

And its not even THAT crazy. I was looking at a UK site a month or so ago that someone was talking about here. They listed fighters & managers of UK guys & there were at least 2 UK managers who had 70+ fighters who they managed. Cameron Dunkin used to have 40-50 guys he managed iirc. Its not that trying of a gig as people think.

Yes broner and tank have the same fanbase and tank is taking over..... Thats why broner is so jealous of him
LOL okay you're trolling me at this point. I'm done new guy or whoever alt you are. Silly conversation.

I'd argue NCAA football doesn't even count as its more of the NFL's farm system, or one could even call it amateur football & not a pro sport at all thats not necessarily trying to or should be trying to maximize revenue & profits.

Definitely me too. Its an interesting time for boxing in general.

I don't think Amazon or Facebook are going to give Arum anything like that amount. They might give him an opportunity and some services that would normally cost money but Arum would likely be out of pocket for all the events with having to make back money on each event if he wants to turn a profit. I don't think there is much money in that sort of thing right now, in the future sure once built up and I don't think Amazon or Facebook would subsidize such a risky thing. I doubt he can get private equity help with all the fuss he helped to stir up over PBC, which would be the one route where he could actually get the capital.

If it was a bunch of boxing people and they could spread out the cost on a WWE network type deal maybe but even then it will cost them tens of millions. Not even including bringing new content in
