would fighting mcgregor be the biggest cherry pick of all time?

Yes it is. Because it gives him a 50th win and an 8 or 9-digit paycheck, against an opponent whose record is 0-0 in professional boxing matches. Show me a bigger mismatch in all of boxing.

Fights like this shouldnt even be allowed on their records. Boxing is such a joke its not even funny. Barely any rules and top guys can fight cab drivers if they wanted to, its embarassing. Conor doesnt even know how to fight with boxing gloves on and he gets to come in and make a huge payday against Floyd? Meanwhile, other guys busted their asses for years for that big payday and they dont get rewarded for it. Ridiculous.
Other than some BS that "the fans want it", there is no other reason why this fight is happening. All of a sudden the fans matter? Maybe the clueless MMA fans who know nothing about fighting but the real boxing fans know better. Hopefully even they can see what a terrible joke this is

As far as boxing goes McGregor would probably grade out as a low level amateur at his absolute best
The guy doesn't even belong in a boxing ring against the most mediocre boxers in the sport, let alone the best of the generation
That said, I don't blame Floyd at all. Boxing, like anything else is a business. Anything that makes dollars makes sense and regardless of how big of a farce and circus side show this **** is, it's going to generate A LOT of f**king money
Like so many of the motherf**kers who spend all day on here hating fighters and acting like they know what's best for them as they sit there behind their computer screen, I ain't about to hate on Floyd for this...Floyd gonna clean up (once again) when it comes to the $$$ on this
People can trash it all they want but Floyd will be the one laughing all the way to the bank, just like Manny will after he fills up that 55K seat stadium in Brisbane

I wouldn't say making the biggest paying fight is a cherry pick. A cherry pick is when you fight a lesser fighter over someone else just because he's the easier option. No fighter (apart from Pacquiao because he was afraid of needles) would walk away from a fight that will sell over 2 mil PPV.
