He must, he Is coming back after 2 years off and at 40 years of age to fight the biggest star In the UFC. I believe the fans *****ed and moaned because they most likely felt they were not being given the effort they felt they deserved for the money they spent on his PPV's and after the Pacquiao fight they let him know It by not purchasing the Berto fight., I don't really know, just taking a guess.. Maybe you have a better Insight as to why the fans and many boxers themselves didn't appreciate him or his boxing ability.

i dont think tb'e' fans ever b/m may. the haters certainly did and still do. tbh, the haters made may a lot of his wealth.

100 mil guaranteed is a no brainer.
      pac would have taken it
srl would come out of retirement and take it
      dlh would also take it.

any word on it being for #50 ? glorified exhibition ?

Yeah but combine his name (he's the face of the UFC and really MMA as a whole) and those numbers with Floyd's name and his numbers, and that's gonna equal out to a whole hell of a lot of casuals once the buzz around it reaches its peak

Oh and plus it's guaranteed to have a EXTREMELY lively buildup with these two. These two know how to sell a fight before the actual fight even takes place as well or better than anybody in the history of combat sports damn near

It will do really, really big numbers

Nobody talks about Those things besides filipinos. Didnt Pac blame his Morales loss on itchy socks?

These asians idolize their heroes to an unhealthy degree. Pac could say anything and his fans would eat it up. The general public & casual fans wont !

we didnt think the 1st fight would do the numbers it did. i believe if may pac 2 was signed for nov 2017, people would be making threads l/r/c hyping it up.

It amazes me how ****** some posters are. This fight is more Ali/inoki or Floyd/ big show than a real big fight. None of us as diehard boxing fans should care about this garbage even though casual fans seem to be intrigued by it and want to see it.

If casual fans a gullible enough to support this let them do so. To act like 50-0 means something or a win over mcgregor matters is ridiculous.

I don't even think most boxing fans would consider this a ranked match, where this fight actually means something. This is literally just an easy $100 mil paycheck. Who in the F wouldn't do this if they were Floyd? He is a cherry picking, duck, but you can't really criticize him for this one. C'mon, easiest opponent ever, happens to have the biggest cache, and brings in tons of numbers, and people are willing to buy this? This is a no brainer. The people that should be pissed are UFC fans. At this point, Floyd's not even an active/ranked fighter.

but the fact that it would actually count towards his resume and record is super bogus, and makes a 50-0 record, pointless. I honestly think this shouldn't even be a ranked, and official boxing match, where it counts towards his record, but categorized as an exhibition match. Not a single boxing fan, or even casual is going to consider this a real, ranked match up between 2 elite boxers, because 1 guy isn't even a ranked boxer lmao.

I lost respect for Floyd when berto was announced instead of a even 10x higher payday rematch of PAC.
