I hear rumours that Wilder will be fighting Stiverne again next, is this true?

Everything you say is true but that's not how it will play on NSB. All the Wilder haters will spin it and make it seem like he's the one who is standing in the way of the AJ fight.Quite likely, considering he has mandatories to fight too.
Likelihood is Wilder is going to have to wait until after AJ has fought potentially a Klitschko rematch, definitely Pulev, maybe Ortiz and maybe Fury. All of that is perfectly reasonable considering that:
- Klitschko has a rematch clause
- Pulev is mandated by the IBF and all the noises are that if not Klitschko he has to be next else he's stripped.
- Ortiz has already been making noises about taking the WBA to court if needs be to ensure he gets his shot, even if the WBA have stated they're likely to give AJ a voluntary. Potentially Haymon could get him to step aside for Wilder but it's unlikely he'll go for it.
- Joshua v Fury is a much, much bigger fight than Joshua v Wilder and does huge numbers in the UK. Of course this depends on Fury having a boxing license and not being 300 pounds.
On top of all that, it also looks like Parker wants nothing to do with Wilder and just wants to cash out against AJ so that's another potential fight to get in the way. Likelihood is whoever gets Bellew will get Joshua first out of Wilder and Parker.
I'd reckon Wilder v Joshua would happen sooner if it was for all the belts, but Parkers team don't appear to want to risk losing out on a major payday against Joshua to go for that. Only way that's going to change is if Haymon throws a lot of money towards Parker safe in the knowledge that he'll make even more against Joshua if it's for the undisputed heavyweight title. But that'll only happen if Haymon has complete faith that Wilder will blow Parker away.Comment

I don't like Wilder but I got to agree with you. Nobody is lining up to fight Wilder anymore. I always thought Wilder would get exposed but the only thing I have seen is guys fail drug tests before they get in the ring with him or get laid out. The top guys are not mentioning him in unification. I do understand some challengers preferring to fight Joshua if they are going to get knock out because of the pay day. If Wilder can't get Joshua or Parker than he might as well get the biggest payday he can while waiting. If I was him I would get Stiverne out of the way & then fight Bellew. He has asked for unification & got no response. If he can get Klitschko in the ring than he should do that. If he can't get any of them Bellew in the UK sounds like the next best financial option...That's seriously some biased nonsense. Wilder is begging Parker to fight him this summer and he's not getting any response. He flew out to the AJ fight and AJ mentioned everybody but he and Ortiz. He didn't think that it might be a good idea to mention the other HW title holder who happened to be right there??
I don't care if people think Wilder is untalented. I think he's an uncoordinated mess. But, this nonsense where people blame him for everything is just ******. He might not be the most talented HW but the guy is actually trying to get decent fights now and isn't getting any response. It's time to be honest.
And, I'll add that EVERYONE in the division is ducking Ortiz. Including Wilder.Comment

Stiverne was given the #5 ranking after losing the world championship. Considering he lost the title by decision, it wouldn't have been fair to drop him lower than that.
#1 Alexander Povetkin & #2 Mike Perez were ordered to fight for the silver championship in a final eliminator to determine Wilder's mandatory. Povetkin won and would have fought for the world title had he not been caught cheating.
#3 Tyson Fury chose to pursue a WBO title shot while #4 Glazkov chose to pursue an IBF title shot, removing them from the WBC rankings.
Stiverne did not climb the rankings by beating Rossy, beating Rossy simply kept him active so he wouldn't be removed from the rankings. He climbed the rankings from those in front of him losing or fighting for other titles.
Stiverne signed to fight Povetkin in a final eliminator to try to earn a shot at the title he'd recently lost. It's not his fault Povetkin was caught cheating again.
From Stiverne's perspective, why should he have to keep waiting for a rematch when there hasn't been a mandatory defense in over two years and he was ready, willing and able to face Povetkin until Povetkin was caught cheating again?
Look, I don't want to see Wilder-Stiverne again. Nobody wants to see it again. But nobody wants to see Golden State play the Nets on a Tuesday night instead of seeing them against a top team.
But sometimes in a sport, you compete against who you're scheduled to compete against and boxing would be a lot better off if fans weren't so quick to forgive fighters for ducking mandatories.
And if we didn't have four titles, the quality of the mandatories would greatly increase. Everyone complains about having four titles, but they often don't think about the fact that it also means four mandatories, watering down the quality of the mandatories.Comment

So you have some of the same posters vilifying Golovkin for having to take his mandatory against Dominick Wade, and yet, when it comes to Wilder they defend him

Since you're too ****** to put 2 and 2 together:
It was a reflection that people considered the fight against Wade a waste of time, just as this fight is since Wilder already spanked Stiverne. Both are a waste of time, despite being mandatories. The point is the same posters crucifying GGG are trying to defend this mandatory, and walk around as if they are neutral & non-biased.
Let me know if you're too ****** to understand anything else, I'll be happy to explain simple things to you.Comment
