The best in the division? Wlad had a great run as champion but he was old and inactive. You can say whatever about Wilder's resume but the fact is he's been calling out AJ since he won the title.

When a fighter has fought Wlad, they have started to fight the best of the division which is what I said and Wlad clearly showed he is still an elite heavyweight who would be favored over most top heavyweights. Wilder calling out AJ doesnt mean AJ is avoiding Wilder. Boxing history and this site is littered with people claiming ducking only to have to eat their words later. It has been laughable how epidemic the ducking statements have come along only to be shot down by the countless matchups.

He didn't think that it might be a good idea to mention the other HW title holder who happened to be right there??
