fonfara is limited? he's 6'3 with educated feet and shifts..has a pocket and come foward game...that's 2 out of 3 ranges covered...

he actually didnt gas he got caught and hurt bad..fonfara sealed the deal...that's wat u call a fight...

u type of guys are teh type that praise chavez-taylor then hate on fights that go that way right before your eyes...

as far as teh comparison i'll say this...his moves looked similar..names mean nothing to me..wat i see with my eyes is wat the opponent is seeing and having to deal with..dawson was sharper than i've ever seen him..there wasnt a punch he didnt throw with smoothness and he moved the angle right after with not to much but just enough movment..HE GOT CAUGHT..so all the credit goes to fonfara..it's a fight get over it

fonfara has no excuses imo..he got caught with one big shot..he should correct that mistake and get better..he didnt take a career ending beating..he's only like 28 year old..

and he's not limited..he has something u cannot teach..and that size...the man is very mobile..

Stevenson is so full of crap. He's the light heavyweight version of Canelo Alvarez. Each fight is a carefully cherry picked opponent while other real fighters in the division fight each other. He has talked crap for years while avoiding any real competition. Yawn!

Fonfara is with Hunter now so his approach is changing. I'm assuming he chose Virgil to learn how to keep his chin safe. I think he's going to have a gameplan to pepper Stevenson with light shots and stay fleet-footed every time the old man charges in. I don't trust Fonfara's decision making at all but I'm leaning toward him to win by decision.

I think Fonfara may win by UD utilizing his reach and height. Don't forget that Stevenson could blast him out in the first round...

Lol and how did he look prior to the fight vs Fonfara? How much credit for that performance goes to Fonfara rather than Dawson himself?

Like I said, I thought Dawson was shot and Fonfara was just going to pick up a good W. But, Chad's footwork and timing were on-point. Those are the two main things I look at when judging if a fighter still has anything left because those are the first to go.
Fonfara hung in there though and pounced when Chad gassed so it was a good effort from both guys.

I'd much rather see Adonis fighting someone who actually deserves a title shot right now, but if he's going to take bullshyt fights, this is about the most intriguing bullshyt fight he can take.
