How had I not heard of this before, just saw some quick highlights and it looks like Mercer gave him that work. Haven't seen the full fight but it looks like Mercer was at the very least a challenge.

He will never lose his arrogance. His arrogance is what got him beat by McCall & Rahman. He figured he would crush both guys. McCall caught him with a good punch & it took Lennox a long time to admit that it wasn't a fluke but he finally softened his stance on that. He completely disregarded Rahman as a threat when he showed up to South Africa a week before the fight not in peak condition after filming Oceans 11 or 12 with all those A list actors. I'm pretty sure he wasn't exactly killing himself in the gym. The rematch showed that. I still think the most arrogant Lennox Lewis moment was during an HBO telecast when he was telling Max Kellerman how Zeljko Mavrovic was one of his toughest fights. He said he threw the kitchen sink at him & he wouldn't go down. He told Max that Mavrovic had trained for 2 years preparing for his mandatory shot. Max then asked Lennox how much time he actually took to prepare for that fight. Lennox just smiled & laughed with no reply. It was a good burn by Max...

That was a very close fight. I'd say probably his toughest fight. It could have went either way but I believe I scored it a draw. It was not a robbery but no question Mercer could have got the decision.

When Lewis first fought Tyson, people gave him no chance.
In fact, he completely tamed the 'lion'. Against Vitali, he fought like a crazy man and never took a step back--his best fight in my opinion. I can't think of one heavyweight who would've beaten him at his best.

Lewis in his 18/19 fight was fighting levi billups a small old journyman, and once again switch trainers bc he could not get the knock out.....so much for Amateur experiance? Not only is Joshua more balanced fighter with speed and power but hes also a more effective inside fighter,as of now MAYBE Lewis has athe slight edge with long range as Joshua is more mid.Overall its crystal clear who is the more talented fighter.Lewis was great for his strengths but was extremely limited in the BIG man style of working behiind the long range jab...Joshua is not and doesnt even rely on it.

Lennox often praises bums like Szpilka and calls them ¨the next big thing¨ ¨the Klitschko conquerer¨ etc and they always fail and get exposed, now a fighter who really looks like he has the goods and the right timing appears, and Lennox just wants to belittle him, what an arrogant, jealous mfer

Anything to sell the narrative that, that was a past prime version of Lennox Lewis who was losing to Vitali Klitschko quite clearly before the doctor stoppage, right?

Look at him, so fat, he looks so old here as well, lol!

So Lennox Lewis who was in his prime at 36years old was old, fat, and slow... incredible, just mindblowing.

Some people will just say whatever they want to push a narrative/view, I think your trolling is getting a bit old, stop bull****ting yourself.

Lennox never had the hype and anywhere near the same fanbase that AJ has over in Britain, I bet that does make him jealous a good bit!
AJ won the gold medal for his actual REAL country, unlike Lewis, so that's another browny point that goes directly to Joshua.

Lennox Lewis was a great fighter, but 9 times out of 10 he would have lost to Vitali Klitschko, Lewis knew it himself and why did he know this, well he retired and turned down big money for the rematch, this was a prime version of Lewis like I clearly showed who had not long beat Tua and Tyson.

Rahman and McCall were good enough to give rematches when they clearly beat Lewis in a fight, but Lewis wasn't good enough to give Vitali a rematch when it was obvious as daylight that Lewis was getting his ass handed to him, but people are making excuses to this day how he was fat lmfao, utterly pathetic!
