Yeah, he lost a couple of fights he shouldn't have. He came back and stopped both to right the mistakes.

Holyfield (x2), Klitschko, Tyson, Ruddock, Golota, Briggs, Tua, Grant, Mercer, Bruno, Tucker, Botha, Morrison...

He beat every man he ever fought in a great HW era. Most of these guys he didn't just beat, he either outclassed or obliterated them.

No, I mean the fight where Vitali was ahead on all three scorecards and more than willing to continue. The fight that scared Lewis into retirement even though one fight before he claimed to be aging like wine.

Ali was never knocked out by Frazier you dump truck, and he finished Cooper twice.

One punch from Foreman, Frazier, Liston, Lyle, Williams or Shavers and Lewis would be out cold. Ali fought the hardest punchers in HW history and was never put to sleep, while Lewis was put to sleep twice by journeymen. He'd be ****d by the guys Ali fought.

Lewis is top 3 in my opinion. It's tough to compare eras. Ali's era & the 90s were 2 very solid eras for HWs. But Foreman on numerous occasions as a commentator on the air called Lennox Lewis the greatest HW. He did say it. He also said he ducked him in his comeback & would have ducked him in his prime. Foreman was a great HW & those words came from his mouth live on HBO.

So it's true because Foreman said it? I have given quotes where Foreman has called Ali the GOAT and that was recently. Foreman seems to flip flop with his opinions all the time.

Wasn't one of the Ali fights against Cooper where Cooper had knocked Ali down just before the bell to end the round, and the Ali camp used time wasting tactics to extend the time between rounds to give Ali time to recover?
