Here is a direct quote from Foreman about Ali. Mike Tyson called Ali the GOAT, and he fought Lewis so...
Most of that is due to his character and what he did outside of the ring, as well as being a great fighter.

"Former heavyweight champion George Foreman has claimed Lennox Lewis is the best heavyweight of all-time after beating Mike Tyson.
Before the Memphis clash Foreman claimed the Briton was the best heavyweight since Muhammad Ali.

But after his thrilling demolition of Iron Mike, Foreman, who was beaten by Muhammad Ali in the 'Rumble in the Jungle' in 1974, believes Lewis is the undisputed king of the ring.

"Lennox is beyond doubt the greatest heavyweight of all-time," Foreman said on Monday.

"He is not second any more, he is there at the top of the tree. It reminded me of a young George Foreman and an elusive Muhammad Ali - everything you want in a fighter."

No its not, he's saying that Ali was the greatest man he met in and out of the ring. Again i'm not sure why you're so fixated on what Foreman has to say, I bet you will find far more ex champions saying Ali is the GOAT than Lewis. I seem to recall Foreman also calling Frazier the GOAT.

I have Lewis as easy number 1 heavy, I cant see any way that Ali beats him, only way to beat him would be to knock him out...Lewis could knock most the 70's "heavyweights" out with a stiff jab..

Lets get real here, he was a solid athletic 240/250 ,complete boxer with very heavy hands.

Then you must not have watched much of Ali, Ali beats him to the punch and dances round him for 12 rounds or if he decided to he can stop Lewis. Lol Lewis beating 70's heavyweights with a jab. How can he be easy number 1 with 2 spectacular knockout defeats? Lewis gets beat by Frazier, Foreman, Shavers, Lyle, Norton

An old, out of shape Lewis who was at his worst and already thinking about retirement stopped Klitschko.

                That's just the facts.

Yes come to think of out I think lewius should have rematched vitali on basis he was losing on points.
Lennox should have been embarased being behind on points and try rectify.
Its not always about the win.
Also not ignoring it was a great fight and I wanted more

An old, out of shape Lewis beat Vitali via stoppage.

That's like saying Chavez didn't really beat Taylor, he was behind before knocking him out

Lennox skillset for his size was amazing

Jousha looks good, but anyone with an eye can see he's no Lennox Lewis

Lennox always found a way, and he avenged his losses
