I agree. That's the only Ward fight I actually like.

no, not at alll. what he does isnt boxing to me. boxing is about throwing punches, exchanging shots, eye catching combos. not clinching and wrestling. although he wasnt as dirty in the kovalev fight lets not forget all his fouls in his other fights. i will never be a fan of his, damn ugly style.

                  No I don't.

I like the fact that he gave Kov a good fight however I find his style a bit boring.

I don't, but I don't have a huge problem with it per se. What I do have a problem with is the refs letting him get away with **** that is too blatant - the biggest thing that comes to mind is the Kessler headbutt. Most of everything else can be attributed to 'savvy'.

If you've watched the NBA, a great comparison (IMO) is Bruce Bowen. Dude was extremely skillful, incredibly savvy and knew how to defend everyone and anyone. But he put his foot under other player's legs during jump shots in order for them to land and sprain their ankles - THAT was illegal and needed to be punished. Shame on the refs that never called it.

Same with Ward, if he got a point deducted when he threw a bad headbutt, or when he clinched excessively, he would tone it down a little bit. Need better refs.
