are delinquent youths the most clever?
I think it's clever that he and others figured out down through the years that they could cheat like this and wouldn't be punished and exploit it to win fights. I'm not saying it's a good tactic or a skill. It's wrong all the way around and it ruins boxing. Cheating is always cheating, but clever isn't always nice either. Serial killers are clever, but they are not to be admired. Except for Dexter maybe. Ha.

Ward would suffer the same fate if there was a ref that actually enforced the rules of boxing and rightfully penalized him for his illegal tactics.

or even broke up clinches immediately. so he can't waste a round by clinching and hugging.
ward has more levels to his cheating game though. he also has a nice bend below the waist move he does to escape punches(i suppose this illegal move is great defense for fanboys). hatton never had that and thats why his head kept getting bashed up.

dude this is not on the level of serial killing. was Ricky Hatton's style intelligent fighting?

it's just a dude KNOWING he's allowed to clinch whenever he wants without any repercussions.

he's actually started shooting double legs in the last fight. he did it 4-5 times to stop Kov's onslaught.

legit bend down and shot straight for Kov's legs. lifted him in the air then body clinched him to stop action.

there's nothing clever about it. it's straight up buffoonery.

Mayweather and Hopkins brainwashed morons into believing breaking the rules is actually intelligent fighting.

            double leg into upperbody clinch

            straight body clinch

Oh I know. He's as dirty as it gets. We're in agreements here, man. Really. I don't condone cheating ever. Hopefully with the rematch, we get a real referee who will call out what he does.

They definitely did. Both were dirty and got away with numerous fouls. That's a terrible thing for the sport.

They weren't low-blows. And them gut-checks were landing especially while kovalev was holding. It's how he won, he bullied the boogie-man.

bullying, you mean hugging Kov's torso right?
