But, he wants to unify! What happened to that? He's doing what daddy canelo wants, otherwise he might not get his September fight in which he gets a boxing lesson.

People are comparing Floyd fighting the #2 p4p fighter in the world after a layoff....to GGG fighting Brook who wasn't even really considered #2 in his own division as the same thing? Is that what I'm gathering from this thread?

So you acknowledge he wants to unify but will fight Canelo first for the payday. What is it exactly we're arguing about then? Everyone knows the situation, and no one in their right mind would think he's ducking Saunders, so it seems we're all in agreement. Have a nice night.

Moron, his best weight was always 140, he said it himself. That was a one off and he went back to JWW afterwards, only came up again for the payday against floyd. Mayweather chose him cause he was the smaller, easier option, compared to Mosley/Cotto/Marg/PWill/Pac, who were all fighting in Floyd's weight class.

I'm still waiting for someone, anyone, to explain why he chose Hatton/Marquez instead of someone in his OWN weight class, when there were FIVE legitimate, money-making options. Bueller? Bueller............???

Hatton was a money machine and was the biggest money fight...it was a money fight..not that hard to understand

Jmm was simply a tune up and he literally fought Mosley NEXT!!!

So why in the hell do you keep asking why Floyd fought Hatton?

No, I'm not acknowledging that at all tbh. It was sarcasm. I'm saying if unifying is sooooo important, he would take Saunders (also the easier option) instead of canelo where he'll lose all his belts anyway. He knows his time is up and is cashing out.

On a side note, I think it's utterly hilarious that you talk about floyd the way you do, yet golovkin has fought ONE good fighter in his weight class (and that's not even an A level fighter). How can you justify his total bs when you obviously hate Mayweather?

ts is simply comparing the size difference between fighters on both fights and yes the are parallel
