Jmm was simply a tune up and he literally fought Mosley NEXT!!!
JMM was exactly that, a tune-up because at that time, JMM did not belong anywhere near 147, especially with that height/reach disadvantage.

While its good he fought Mosley, lets not play like he picked him at his peak. Mosley had a 2 year layoff (longer than Floyd was "retired") and back to back camps after Berto dropped out. Not saying fight would have been better, Mosley was obviously way past it when FLoyd and then Pac fought, but was a bit of a convenient time to fight him.

Reread his post. He's talking about credit overall. Ggg gets 0 credit for Brook and even Floyd gets little to none for Marquez and it was a much better fight on paper. Again not a spin when talking credit. Marquez p4p #2 brook #2 or 3 welterweight not ranked p4p.

The fact still remains : A Welterweight lifted GGG off his feet.

On a side note, I think it's utterly hilarious that you talk about floyd the way you do, yet golovkin has fought ONE good fighter in his weight class (and that's not even an A level fighter). How can you justify his total bs when you obviously hate Mayweather?
Moron, Martinez avoided Golovkin for Cotto, Cotto avoided him for Canelo, Canelo gave up the belt to avoid him, and Saunders admits to ducking him till he gets old. Why are you playing dumb? Unless you started following last week you would know that he's been ducked by all the top names in the division. You also know very well that he wants the Saunders fight too so he can unify, but isn't going to risk missing out on a career high payday when Saunders available afterwards. Not sure why this is so difficult for you to understand. He already tried to get the gypsy in the ring before but was ducked, now that he has a superfight on the horizon Saunders and ggg's detractors are talking smack LOL.

Pacquiao ducked Mosley because he was "too good", Mosley was ranked 2 or 3 P4P, lots of people were saying Mayweather wouldn't fight him. After he did everyone said it meant nothing, same old story.

The above Link shows the Ortiz (150lbs), Baldomir (149lbs), Judah (146lbs), and Shamba Mitchell (148lbs) fight night weights at welterweight contested bouts.

It also shows all his other fight night weights all the way down to super featherweight, and you'll see that in his whole career he has never rehydrated by more than 6lbs.

                boxrec.com/media/index.php/Floyd_Mayweather_Jr._vs._Marcos_Maidana

The Maidana fight night weights are in the above link. Floyd at 148lbs and Maidana at 165lbs (17lbs difference).

The above link is a tale of the tape of the Floyd vs Canelo fight night weight. Floyd at 150lbs and Canelo at 165 lbs (15lbs difference).

The link above is the tale of the tape of the Floyd vs Victor Ortiz bout, Floyd at 150lbs and Ortiz at 165 (15lbs difference).

These are the ones I could find. Am struggling to find the one for Pacquiao, but I know that the NSAC document, where they weighed him for the dehydration issues revealed that he was in fact 149lbs on fight night compared to Pac's 152lbs. The info was easily available after the fight but it seems to have disappeared from the cyber space. All I could find was one forum where fans (and haters) were discussing it...link is below.

Martinez is class, I don't blame him for getting a payday against Cotto at the end of his career, but everyone knows what happened. Cotto was even worse, paid him off to duck him. Pathetic.
