Because he's got mandatories he also has to work out. IBF mandatory Tureano Johnson, WBA belt consolidation with winner of N'Dam and Murata, winner of proposed Charlo-Heiland eliminator. That's 3 fights right there that GGG will have to take sometime soon to keep his various belts. Then you have Canelo and hopefully Billy Joe Saunders. So yea, its relatively easy to have your future mapped out if you own a lot of belts. What drama queens seem to forget is that GGG likes to fight at least 3 times a year so even if its 5 fights Jacobs will have his rematch within the next year.

GGG fights 3-4 times a year. Stop being dramatic. 5-6 fights still means Jacobs gets his rematch quicker than Canelo signs on to fight GGG.

3 or 4 fights is another way of saying "we are not taking that risk!" Canelo is not going to fight him in September and G will resort back to fighting beer cans again.

Both Canelo and Saunders fights will come with the caveat of a rematch so this is not as outlandish or even remotely ducking as people are trying to make it seem. It's standard practice one that wasn't request by Haymon nor K2 for the Jacobs fight during negotiations.

Fought only twice last year and skipped out on the Saunders fight probably won't fight till Sept now. No guarantee he even fights 3 times this year and didn't last year. There is no reason unless he fights canelo that he doesn't fight Jacobs next. And unless you said floyd doesn't have to fight maidana next he can wait up to 6 fights for a rematch then you a fraud. Unless you said ward doesn't have to rematch Kovalev next he can wait 6 fights down the road you are fraud. But it's strange because the majority of GGG fans took the opposite position for these other fighters and now it's different because its GGG. LMAO

Golovkin lost and now he's ducking rematch.

GGG was the won who pushed for the fight. Jacobs delayed it for money. GGG fought Jacobs. GGG dropped Jacobs. GGG outlanded Jacobs both over the entirety of the fight and in the majority of the rounds. You cannot duck someone you had to drag into fighting and then beat them.

Jacobs will get his turn. Drama queens just need to relax.

jacobs has stated over and over he wants a rematch. next. (if no canelo golovkin) but if the canelo fight presents it's self he has to get out of the way and wait till that fight is done and he gets his rematch after. he certainly wasn't plaining on waiting for 6 fights later. after golovkin doesn't even fight canelo and fights 6 7 bums without wanting to look at jacobs again.

And I assume you're going to be okay with Jacobs taking on more chumps (his resume makes GGG's look like its full of Hall of Famers) while waiting for his rematch.
