He's also acting like he's the only fighter in the world who experienced that which is complete BS.

He's been making millions on HBO ever since he won Super 6 for fighting subpar opposition (minus Dawson). And yet, he had the balls to come out and say HBO making him move up and fight Kovalev was some sort of ploy by the white devil

That's the story of his career - Goosen got him into super 6 and pretty much made him the fighter he is today and what did he get in return? 3 lawsuits. Same thing with HBO.

When things don't go his way, he comes out, cries racism and continues to being oblivious to the fact that the reason of why he's hated is that people see through his BS and are fed up with it.

He's a delusional, entitled little man and it boggles my mind how people can defend him and actually agree with him.
This statement is full of holes. Not only that but it shows you didn't thoroughly listen to what he was saying. Let's start with you saying he was in a sub par super 6 tourney. Then move on to you saying he owes his career to goosen, then move on to you saying everyone he fights sucks. And lastly you giving kov credit for a loss.

That's the important part, kovs opposition has been leagues worse than ward and he's the one who came self-admittedly unprepared and not in shape to the biggest fight of his career. He had one of the poorest performances of his career ever and yet he gets credit while Ward is delusional and a crybaby. Not saying you're racist, because I don't know you or your intent, but it makes me scratch my head.

I guess he is like *****. That is one reason I did not like ***** because he considered himself more white than anything. He did 0 to help ********** especially blacks. And if anyone had ever read on the issue of Jack Johnson's family trying to get him a posthumous pardon then your opinion of ***** would change (not for the good). If somethings Ward said made you cringe then some of the things ***** and Holder said regarding the Johnson pardon would make u cringe too. BTW the countries 1st black president and 1st black AG refused to give Jack Johnson a much deserved posthumous pardon.
Not a fan of neither guy. Marcus Garvey was supposed to have been given pardon and ***** didn't give it. Ward's answers on the question of race let's you know he doesn't considered himself black. He has all the rights not to, but you just know the questions about where he fits on the racial spectrum puts him in a place that he's uncomfortable with--blackness--and his response usually tries to distance himself from that place. For example, he gets ask if it is because he is "black" and his responses is "you know I am biracial or my father is white, or I am neutral etc". Never comes out and say I am black or I am a black man.

Disclaimer: I don't consider him black to be honest, and I don't think it is right for biracial people to be called one race; however, it is cowardly to not let people know where you stand. I also feel this is where he tries to be neutral, but American racist society won't let him be. They see him as black and is going to hate him for it.

Precisely. Unfortunately there will always be those that seek a reason no matter how nondescript or off base to complain or be judgmental and derogatory.

I just can't help but think it's because one is black and the other is white.
YOUTUBE is where you see how people really feel

I was shocked at how many people simply just wanted to see him lose....with that being said, i think it influenced their feelings on the first fight...more than actually scoring it for kov

they are used to ward winning clearly and most times a fighter you dont like has a competitive fight, the first reaction is....see he isnt that good, he lost

When has ward acted like an arrogant, prick...youd think they thought he was broner or mayweather but he carries himself totally different

its more to it than "he a diva"

they identify with european fighters more so they root for them, even though they are not their countrymen

i think its inferiority complex.....they may not be racist but they dont want to see a white man lose to a black man....it does something to their psyche

Why are you making stuff up? I literally didn't say anything like that.

I said his opposition after super 6 was subpar, not the tourney itself, (except Dawson) and that he got paid millions for those fights and that is a fact.

I didn't say he owned his career to Goosen or that everyone he fights sucks. I also didn't give Kovalev credit for anything. Stop lying.

As for you thinking I might be racist... On a scale 1-10 how much do you think I care?

It's unfortunate that Ward can give a thoughtful response, even indicating he has received prejudice from both white and black people, and then the comments be so full of nonsense. People do wayy too much time barking their opinions instead of trying to hear the validity in others'. the world has a long way to go and that especially includes America.

Don't blame race. You lost a close fight. Just like GGG lost a close fight. Far and away the most racist boxing fans these days are blacks. And it's killing the sport.

Look at mike lee, he had a subway commercial when there where more deserving, accomplished boxers. They held up a gold medal winning Mexican drug abusing cross dresser, over a gold medal winning black american who is religious. [/QUOT

Your complaining about racism and acting morally superior, but then you use obvious racist phrase, Mexican drug abusing cross dresser. You are showing prejudice against Mexicans and prejudice against gay people. I guess the only racism that exists in your mind is when it goes against your own kind.
I was refering to Oscar, calling someone who is of Mexican decent a Mexican is not racist, but obviously you dont know what racism is....Oscar's drub problems are a fact....how is admitting that RACIST.....I said he was a crossdresser, there are pics of this....once again TRY A LITTLE HARDER. Some of you were just raised this way because of ignorant parents but everyone of your points have been disproven and burned to the ground....TRY AGAIN
