Andre Ward was brought to Dan Goosen by his original promoter Antonio Leonard and his manager James Prince. They thought that they had an agreement with Dan Goosen to all work together. Some how Dan Goosen cut Leonard and Prince out. Andre Ward was not willing to work with Goosen without the people that orchestrated the deal. Leonard had other fighters with Goosen that were also affected by this turn of events. But that was never mentioned by the media.

Living in the past will only repeat it. Move on, face the facts, these fighters with similar, less action oriented, styles and big mouths get the hate. Bring the action an people don't hate...making it about skin color is a cop-out and marginalizes true racism.

Most of what Ward said is on point Americans who would rather cheer for an Russian than an American Olympian is unusual one can only assume they identify with race more than nationality.

You would probably cheer for a Black French fighter over a White American fighter...so whats the big deal....

So sorry you don't get to play that card....Reality is in America (not necessarily in other parts of the world or other countries)....Race is the most important identifier that a person has....nationality comes after (by a good amount)....anyone who tells you differently is either the outlier/exception or a liar....
