And black people have been portrayed as ugly since the very beginning of the film industry when the movie that celebrated the mighty Ku Kluks Klan "Birth of a Nation" was released. Racist people don't dislike black people because of the color of their skin they dislike us because we're ugly and look like apes. Right? You basically admitted that you don't like the guy because superficial shallow and ignorant reasons. Which is the same as being racially prejudiced.
If Andre Ward is so ugly does that make Kovalev some kind of heart throb? Is Manny Pacquiao a sex symbol? Is Gennady Golovkin some kind of hunk? Are you a female or gay male, by the way?

Why are you making stuff up? I literally didn't say anything like that.

I said his opposition after super 6 was subpar, not the tourney itself, (except Dawson) and that he got paid millions for those fights and that is a fact.

I didn't say he owned his career to Goosen or that everyone he fights sucks. I also didn't give Kovalev credit for anything. Stop lying.

Since the super six ward has fought Dawson Barrera and kovalev he's only had five fights since the super six hours is that low level comp when Barrera just stopped a top prospect and was undefeated kovalev was undefeated and ap4p fighter and Dawson had just beat Hopkins? Grow up

ward stays in his lane. keeps things respectful and is a family man. he speaks with intelligence. that makes him "smug" full of himself. .they say he doesn't sell because hes not a loudmouth yet these same people hate broner. wtf do these people want? kovalev is utter ****** trash, a neanderthal with no integrity. but his broken english i guess gives him a pass. same thing with pacquiao who was always the "good guy" even though he was having side babies with hookers and having political rivals beat up. fighters with broken english are deemed cute, clueless and innocent.

It's true. If a black fighter isn't talking like Broner, there'll be some random reason why what he says is an issue.

This guy always gives really respectful and thoughtful remarks. He's as classy as a fighter can get. But people want to see/expect clown **** from a certain demographic.

Cry me a f'ing river..holla at me when you have the Skillset of a Pernell Whittaker and can't even get a network deal. When these fighters from this class of boxing get to whining about the media they should go hit up all those great boxers from the 70's, 80s, and 90s who never got 10% of the respect they should've had. I'm sure all of them would love to have 25% of the attention Ward gets in the sport..oh and none of them took 3 1/2 years off and then expected to walk back into the sport to a parade. double standards.....example...Jacobs gave GGG a close fight....it was a good fight...will his fans demand a rematch? no....but these same people have been whining since november about the rematch with kov

what were the excuses when GGG had just a competitive fight...Jacobs came in at 200 pounds doe.....he wanted to get the 12 rounds in doe....really? a guy who knocked out 20 guys in a row now cares bout getting rounds in.

you didn't understand me. at first he says he can't accuse anyone of anything because he could be wrong, nothing wrong with that. i agree with him, until that point everything he is saying makes sense, then he finishes the interview saying this. why doesn't he say why kovalev will be justified if he loses but he won't? he makes it sound (or implying) that is because one is white and the other black. pretty silly to me because of what he said at the beggining.(the whole point of the interview is how does he think he is being seen while being a black athlete. so what else could it be?)

i don't know how much loved kovalev is considering he isn't packing big arenas or getting big tv numbers (not even when he is fighting another big name and an american one)

about GGG's fight, i couldn't care less about the weight or any other thing, i only got interested in the second day weigh in issue because it was funny how some people here thought that lemieux was cheating but jacobs wasn't, that's all.

imo both GGG and Kovalev had similar performances, one got the W the other didn't. you can't compare the fight itself because it wasn't GGG the one on the canvas and being pushed around the major part of the fight, it was jacobs. just like it wasn't kovalev down on the canvas, giving up the initiative for most part of the fight, it was ward.
