Hhhmm. I'm pretty much an individualist. I look at every fighter differently. I also look at every fan differently.

If you look through most fans' posts on here, you'll find things to disagree with and times where they go over the top(We're all guilty of this), but you'll also find times when you agree with them, which I always enjoy. We're never going to agree on everything but we can enjoy those times where we see things similarly. This is a sport. You'll have fans which is short for fanatics. All fans are crazy in one way or another, but most of them show some sound reasoning at some point. I just focus on that.

Take Original Zero for example. He can tell you everything and I mean, EVERYTHING about the alphabet titles and the history of every title out there. I butted heads with him at first because I thought he just wanted the current BS title system going on to keep thriving which I can't get behind. However, after some calming down and in depth discussion, I was blown away by how much he knew. You have to respect the knowledge. Either way, I don't think he loves the current system. He just knows it inside and out, which I value. I'd invite him to post on any thread I make about titles. His input is invaluable.

When we settle down and look at each other as individuals, the game becomes much more fun and informative.

I feel like I just sounded like an infomercial on the ethics of a boxing forum. Haha.

It shouldn't be, but they attack you for not cheering loud enough so...
You can add the Ward and Mayweather fan boys to that list as well, there all just as a bad as each other as far as i'm concerned

There never really were any Ward fans until recent and they're mostly crossover fans who just have him on their list. If he loses to Kovalev, it'll go back to just a couple of us here being Ward fans.

Mayweather fans, I agree that some were intolerable (that 48 shyt is tired) but as I said before, I wasn't one of them so I never felt embarrassed. I respect the hell out of the guy's accomplishments but I'm not real fond of the person.

Most of Golovkin's fans are total idiots but I usually just scroll through their posts. There is only a handful of GGG fans who's posts I actually read.

Spence too, the kid might be the goods but according to his fans he already is and would murder anyone in his division.

I dislike Ward and absolutely hate his fanboys. You couldn't find a more hypocritical group of people even if you tried.

Pacquiao and Mayweather I like and respect (although I can't say I'm a fan of either) but hate their fanbases.

With some of the Ward, GGG, Kovalev fans there is a real undertone of racism at play and that's something I've got no time for personally. I had one Ward fan claiming I was part of 'the demographic' because I was critical of Ward for something. These 'fans' are all just as bad as each other. The GGG fans who defend him to the death and belittle past greats to make GGG look better really bug me. He is a very good fighter and i'm a fan but lets not pretend he has been destroying killers in the ring...

Mayweather was a great fighter but a horrible person, the fans trying to defend him no matter what he does and says come out of it looking very silly.

Another really annoying fan base is the Spence, some of those guys are deluded.

No. I always make an effort to separate fighters from their fanbases. Fans do make it easier to dislike a fighter even more if you already don't like them.

If I judged fighters based on their fans, I would hate almost every top fighter in the world.

Golovkin is my favorite fighter, but I wouldn't even like him if I didn't disregard the ****** **** a lot of his idiot fans say.
