I forgot about Kovalev and Ward. I'm a huge fan of both fighters. I was in awe by Kovalev in his first fight with Pascal. I acknowledge and admire Ward's accomplishments in the sport.

It just sucks that both guys attract some seriously odd characters into their fan bases . That's why I hardly comment in threads that have anything to do with them. I'd rather just watch them fight than even attempt to converse about them on this forum.

Currently I feel that way about GGG and Gonzalez. I like both fighters, I have bought both of their PPV's and watch their cards on HBO but I can't stand some of their fans. Not all of their audience is gone off the deep end, but the few that are make it difficult for me to speak positively about them on the forum. Even if I do hold them in high regard irl.

I used to be one of the biggest Rigondeaux fans around here. Hell, I bought his book a few years back and read it in one sitting because I was rather intrigued by El Chacal. Sadly, after several poor showings against clearly overmatched men and with his fanatics constantly praising him for "breaking faces", the guy's horrid attitude towards entertainment got tired and old quickly. His fans would take his crap, polish it, heat it up and tried to force feed everyone that crap and pass it off as some amazing, once in a lifetime performance .

Oh well. I would still like to see Rigondeaux vs top names in or around his division. Same goes for Roman and GGG.

What about the rest of you? Have any fan bases turned you away from a fighter? Present or past?
      Nope.

Why should I give a chit what other cats like or dislike, or say? Why should other peeps influence what the fook I like to watch, the qualities I like in a fighter? Why should some random ass fool determine who I follow and watch?

Look at my sig list. There is no trend, no pattern.

Imagine if a cat like me just stopped watching or rooting for cats like Kovalev, Crawford, Rigo, Fury, or Golovkin just because some trolls said something ****** on NSB.

      LMFAO.

What kind of a beta cuck follower would I be?

LMFAO. I'm too alpha and too savage to do anything but do me, and 'wraps is a dude that will root for dudes like GGG, Fury, Spence, and Rungvisai all at the same time and there's not a dayum thing anyone is going to do about it but say "yea, LoadedWraps is a boss, we can't fuxx with him, let him do him".

Good on you but I think you misunderstood my question. No worries, I've noticed 2 or 3 replies similar to yours already. As expected.

The question wasn't about disliking a fighter because of his fanbase or not watching him anymore, but disliking the fan base he has while still enjoying his performances. Similar but not quite.

People frequently try to get some of us to dislike them. They create racial tensions with false flags. I've never shown a bias toward any race or nationality (I have a long, searchable post history that backs that up) but it won't stop people from being intentionally ignorant to the truth.

No matter how hard people try to make me hate those fighters I mentioned, I'll still like them. You guys will just have to live with it. Your racial segregation of fanbases isn't going to change me.
Dude I'm not trying to make you dislike any fighter. I'm just find it ****** for someone to say, I like so and so fighter but their fanbase makes me dislike them.

If you like a fighter then like them and roll with them. Don't be a weak minded pu$$y and let people you don't know or hang with ifluence your choice on who you like and don't like.

I said, "their fanbases on here are embarrassing as hell sometimes."
"people act like such cheerleaders and that it's kinda offputting."

And you spun it into ^that nonsense about disliking fighters. One might say that needing to stretch the truth is "weak minded pu$$y" shyt.

Maybe you're bugged that I don't like those fanbases? We don't need to argue over shyt like that. Especially when we both like some of the same fighters.

FWIW, I didn't like hardcore fans of Floyd, Broner, Matthysee, Spence, Rigo, or Maidana either but I was never a real fan of any of those guys so I didn't bring them up in this thread.

I'm not bugged at all if you don't like certain fanbase. I'm just saying A fanbase shouldn't have any bearing on how you feel about a fighter. You said PAC, ggg, lomo and Kova are fighters you like but people act like such cheerleaders and that's kinda offputting.

But I'm saying who gives a *** about that. If you like a fighter then like them.

This argument always falls to **** because they blame on on "the fans" but they're inconsistent with their support of a fighter's style/personality, the only thing that is consistent is color of their skin.

I'm the guy he was talking to and there is no consistency in the color of my favourite fighters. Why do so many idiots here just cry "racism" but you guys can't support it when you're called to do so? Does it just satisfy your insecurity to play the roll of the victim? I'm genuinely curious.
