don't tell me to GFTOH...im not one of these dummies you think you can talk to like that...I actually know what im talking about

I said from day 1 that although "big" fights of this nature are almost always made on a percentage basis and not a flat fee basis, if the $15 mil was a "clean" offer it was likely more money than GGG would get if they took a 65-35 or 60-40 or whatever split (based on my own opinion of what revenue the fight would likely generate). But having the ability to use critical thinking, I know damn well it isnt a clean offer. It has options demands, or rematch financials, or something in it that is a dealbreaker. When you look at the agreement between GBP and Canelo, its an 80-20 net revenue split, so of the so-called $15 mil guarantee, only $3 million of that is oscars money. There is NO WAY that Canelo is going to pay GGG out of his own pocket if the event underperformed.

and as for you knowing what you are talking about, I dont know who you are, so I havent the slightest idea what you know or dont know. All I know is you named yourself after a wrestler.....

'smart business decisions only matter when they apply favorably to golovkin"

when golovkin is ducking ward? smart business...theres no money in it...ward don't sell. when golovkin is avoiding lara? smart...theres no money in it...lara don't sell. when golovkin is bringing up a welterweight, with one decent win in 30 fights at the weight, its smart cause golovkin made career high payday...

when herds of golovkin fans insisted golovkins share should be more than 15 mil and close to even terms it was just "smart business"...all the amateur accountants were out then Terry!

but when welterweight cotto was parlaying that MW belt into millions with fights against Sergio, geale and canelo ...well he was a "coward"

when a 24-25 year old kid who started a WW, and had no fights at full 160, parlayed that MW belt into fights with cotto and khan(which also made millions)...he was a pansy/coward.

in a perfect world we wouldn't care about purses/shares/ a-b side...but this is part of the game now.....huey lewis said "there aint no perfect world anyway"

so make sure you go scold all the amateur accountants who crunched their numbers when defending golovkin. *****.
The irony is before ANYONE talked about canelo fighting GGG the first person camp to throw out the I am the A side that means I don't need you and you have to give in to my catch weight demands was...team GGG. LMAO

They used the A side excuse to talk down to ward and despite calling out ward's weight class and name dropping him when ward said stop mentioning my name and weight class let's fight at 168 they killed that fight with I will only fight you at catchweight 164 I'm the A side and GGG fans all backed him and the A side talk. But now that the tables turned and he is the unquestionable B side with canelo being a bigger A side then he could ever dream to be over ward. Nope his fans cry he cries and canelo just being a diva demanding the same concessions GGG mocked ward for. That's karma him and ward were neck and neck in draw and he screamed A side. No matter what you want to look at there are no numbers that say he is neck and neck with canelo. his worst ppv does double what GGG best ppv does. Yet he refuses to concede to any demands a normal B side would take to land a big fight. Demands he fully understands whe he requests others to make to fight him. SMH

He understands A side B side dynamics just fine.

better than naming my self something like "ggg unbeatable" though isn't it?

terry, terry...listen...im not saying the offer is real. im glad you are able to think critically. it doesn't matter if the offer was real or not. you were talking about fans playing amateur accountant. and I said "golovkin fans insisted it was a terrible deal" and you know this. and even as you said "its likely moren than his percentage split would be anyway"......so the point is...golovkin fans played amateur accountant and insisted the deal was bad(even u know it would be a good one if it were real) even though it wasn't a bad deal.....we aren't here to debate whether the deal was real or not

nobody with more than 3 active brain cells would dispute that Canelo is the "a-side doe" over GGG.

What is in dispute is how far does that go? Where is the line? Should GGG fight Canelo for free? Maybe let Canelo **** his sister or something?

Its strictly a business deal. It either happens, or it doesnt happen. But you seem to really take it personally as if you had some sort of stake in it.....

lets not forget how the amateur accountants in the baby nuts brigade told us chavez and froch fights were cool at 168 cause it made money and sense...but ward didn't sell.......were these guys going to be taking a cut of golovkins purses? nope....
See, what the Lil g fans don't get is that they are fanboy of a guy who is supposedly not concerned with money first.

You don't say "anyone from 154-168" if you are thinking money first.

Especially when you are calling out guys by name and some of those guys are not huge money fights but are big challenges.

He called out Ward, not the other way around.

He called out Canelo and Floyd, not the other way around.

You call someone out, it is incumbent upon you to do everything reasonable to make the fight.

So yeah, you go to 155 (and probably get the split you want to do it).

And yeah, you go to 168 and fight Ward and you that 50/50 because YOU called HIM out and he sent YOU HIS terms.

haha no doubt. Fanboy names instantly remove ANY expectation of credibility or objectivity

I just miss the days when either a fight got made, or it didnt. But you didnt have all this teenage drama on the internet, twitter, or whatever. Sure, Floyd got some jazz when the Margo fight didnt get made, but it wasnt this nonstop, day after day, hour after hour post-fest. It just gets tiresome.

And odds are its probably only 2 or 3 losers and all their alts posting most of this drivel, but usually at least 70% of the threads on the first 2 or 3 pages are about GGG.

Not bad for a guy who supposedly cant draw ants to a picnic.....lol

                • Both Jacobs and GGG can edge the relatively ordinary diva.
The Canelo circus is not seeking competition. They are administering a sound business plan.

                  • GGG camp has been historically difficult to negotiate with 2 many hypocritical stands. 154 or 168 but literally killed the 2 biggest fights of GGG career because he wouldn't go to 168 and wouldn't got to 154. That's just a fact. And now when weight isn't a issue at his precious 160 they pricing them self out with no leg to stand on to demand more money. Canelo agreed to drop weight got to Floyd catchweight demand and took a 90/10 split with Floyd getting 90% just to land the big fight. GGG refuses to make concessions and prices himself out of fights that's his own teams fault and why he hasn't made the big fights fans been asking from him for over 5 years. Turned down 15m that his own team has never denied was on the table. The excuse making and defending of a man who doesn't want to make big fights needs to end. He clearly rather stay at 160 fighting the wade of the world's just don't cry people are ducking when you killed fights on the table.

terry...you keep saying "doe" almost insinuating that every golovkin detractor must speak in slang and was raised in a substandard urban environment with low-end household income

im a mid 30s white male that was born and raised in an affluent new England beachfront community. and I question golovkins BS all of the time. and I happen to like kovalev and loma very much and question nothing about them. that's the difference.
