"We’re very happy with the promotion, clearly boxing fans in attendance and those watching internationally were provided an outstanding evening of entertainment, a goal we strive for with each event"
It was a good fight with a GREAT undercard fight! Couldn't ask for anything more...Comment

who is currently doing more? Comparing to ppvs 5/10 years ago is misleading as the viewing numbers for tv are in general decline.
Put it another way, who else could do more. Mayweather, Pac, Canelo, Cotto, Joshua .... then who? If you are the sixth best selling boxer in the USA you are not in such a bad spot, especially if you were born some place most Americans couldn't even pin on a map.Comment

The margins are much smaller than that. Just look at the Golden Boy income statement from the Haymon case. I'm sure it's similar industry wide.Well there you have it. For all those who bring up GGG selling out arenas and thinking he's bringing in a lot of revenue. Gate revenue and sales= around $4 million, if it hits 200k ppv buys at $70= 6.3 mil after HBO and the cable providers take their cut. Not counting sponsors, that's a little over $10 mil the fight produced. Jacobs and GGG's combine purse was 4.25 mil not counting the other fighters pay. So that would leave K2 with around $5 mil left to recover expenses for promoting the fight. GGG might be popular and sell tickets but he surely isn't bringing in a lot of money.Comment

DAMN soo COLD!!! Why you got to be soo rude??? His fans make it seem like he has an ARMY behind him and everyone should bend over for him. If he says your asking to much??? Guess what? They are pricing themselves out of a fight. And if he says $15,000,000 isn't enough??? They say Canelo SCARRED. Is ducking, don't want the fight.Comment
