Public outcry for a rematch lmfao. Jacobs barely has fans. This fight almost is assured of doing subpar PPV numbers. A immediate rematch makes lil sense & strategically to force Canelo to fight GGG winning the last title before Canelo wins it makes more sense. Beating BJS for a belt does more for GGG long term than beating Jacobs again in June or September. Jacobs will still be there in December or early 2018 & my assumption is Jacobs will likely not fight before late 2017 anyway with his schedule as of late.

And if GGG is ducking there needs to a whole new level of ducking created to cover what Canelo has been doing as he hasn't fought a live body in awhile.

Who asked for rematch? What fan outcry was there to see that fight again? I was on these boards were everyone roasted Lara and said I will never pay to see that again. Lara was booed the entire night and everyone who paid wanted a refund. Last thing anyone said after that fight is we have to see it again. So nice try but no. No the demand came the moment the judges read their scores. GGG has been getting killed since then and the backlash will be huge if he pulls a salka. Floyd gave both Castillo and maidana direct rematches. And Jacobs was his biggest fight that's GGGs words. Well many feel you lost your biggest fight. And he's not avoiding it for a bigger better fight. He is fighting a bum no one cares about for another belt that means NOTHING to 99% of fans.

If the Canelo fight Is made no one will think twice about GGG VS Jacobs 2. Although the right thing to do would be to give him a rematch there was not a thing wrong with the decision. Gotta disagree with the author. i had the fight 116-111 for Golovkin and honestly a rematch can happen or not. In my opinion the styles didn't clash well and unless Jacobs comes to actually fight I can't see it being any better nor the outcome changing.

Golovkin vs BJS is a good fight and needs to happen. What nonsense to say the only top fight beat is Lee and that reason enough for Golovkin to skip it. Hello Mr. Fitz, the only top fight Jacobs beat was Quillin and that didn't stop us from wanting that fight.

Canelo vs Golovkin is the fight to make afterwards. Jacobs should focus on reestablishing himself by beat 1 or 2 top fighters in the division. Jacobs knew the deal and let the fight slip through his fingers. This isn't a charity event that placates to the whims of dillusional writers and fans.

Tom confirmed he received the offer and has spoken out on details of other fights before they were done but is extra quiet here? Until he says other wise he is pricing GGG out of the fight.
