Exactly man I am a GGG fan, and he definitely won the fight, but the mixed messages from Abel are starting to annoy me too. GGG needed rounds? For what? He got 11 rounds against Martin Murray. He got rounds vs Lemieux. 8 rounds vs Stevens.

And it just gets even more confusing with GGG's ****ty english talking about how he's in love with Jacobs and couldn't destroy him because "I'm not a killer, I'm a boxer." Someone needs to interview him in his native language to understand what the **** he's saying. Is he saying he likes Jacobs because he's good, and because he's good, he couldn't destroy him like other guys? Or does he mean he likes Daniel's personality and knows he had cancer, so he didn't have it in him to hurt Daniel? Because it sure seemed like he tried to hurt him when he knocked him down. But maybe after that he let up out of empathy lol?

Maybe he and Abel had a secret plan to underperform AGAIN to lure Canelo? I don't buy any of that but I'm just saying if they're hinting at something, then at least ****ing explain what you're hinting at. You say you needed rounds - why? At least explain that ****. At least explain what you mean so we can judge what you're saying. As is we don't even know what they're saying, so we can't even judge, other than the fact that GGG has looked like he's aging for a couple fights in a row now so the excuses are wearing thin. He still won clear, he's still an elite fighter for now, but if he's aging, stop trying to say he's not, or that it was your plan all along to go rounds after saying you would knock Jacobs out. It's starting to remind me of Freddie Roach always having an excuse about Manny's religion or something for why he didn't get knockouts anymore. No man he was just getting older, slower, and having less stamina. Don't sugar coat it.

      partly

another part is Loeffler's big mouth

and the last part is, Gennady goes along with it

oh, how could I forget..... and his fans all go along with it as well

The need to stop with this nonsense. There's nothing in the rule book that says you have to win by ko. There's no need to make excuses when you don't get one.

Golovkin won by the skin of his teeth. To say he that 'wanted rounds' is as ******ed as it is insulting to Jacobs.

Yes you have! I wasn't confident at all, but I think GGG would be bone-dry @ 154, and Floyd would pot-shot him to death from round 7 to 12! However, Floyd is 40, and he might not make it to Round 7! I think Lara could do the job if GGG fought him, but Abel won't let that happen after last night's performance! I want to see Jermall Charlo vs. Jacobs, and Lara vs. GGG!

I agree with you, GGG's stamina is starting to look like the older version of Pacquiao. However, the older version of Pacquiao, is still a bit more busier, especially early, so we know why he fades later. Plus Manny's been through WARS! GGG is not really busy, and still winded after 7. Do you think it's age, or improper conditioning? I don't think he's looked bad in his last two fight as a strategy to get Canelo!

It may be VADA. It may be that the better the competition the more you have to work to land the shots that usually start the avalanche of punches that get the TKOs he gets.

I don't think it's bad conditioning. His 30 day weights indicate he stays in shape year round.

If Trip rematches Jacobs....and Jacobs lets Rozier and Hunter break down his mistakes....hmmmmm. It wasn't the shots that Jacobs took that cost him the fight, it was the shots he missed (and by missed I mean landed but not accurately enough to influence the judges or hurt Trip).

We are one step closer to a Canelo/Golovkin fight in September. I wonder what the PPV numbers were last night? Loeffler mentioned they had countered the $15 million-plus offer from GB. If the numbers are small, he might accept the offer. If the numbers are real big, GB might accept the counter.
