I think Abel's big mouth is what makes people dislike Golovkin. Last week he was comparing him to Sugar Ray Robinson and saying only Robinson and Hagler are above GGG at 160. Prime Hopkins would have did a Pavlik on him.

If I was GGG then I would immediately retire after the big money fight against Canelo. Because there are younger guys out there like Jermall Charlo who would beat GGG and time runs against Golovkin.

For real though...if Abel is trying to spin it now as if the plan was to "get Gennady rounds" in...come on, man.

GGG will be 35 next month, it would be ****** to start with a new Trainer now. Why should he leave him anyway? GGG had a great run with Sanchez.

I thought Golovkin won by a couple of rounds but I understand boxing is subjective. But to say it was a robbery or that Golovkin has no defence isn't subjective, it's total idiocy. Pressure fighters have to have defence to not get smashed up. It's Ignorance about the different styles of boxing.

GGG purposely went 12 rounds to lure Canelo into fighting him. big drama.

Disappointed. I expected more from Golovkin. But Danny surprised me. I think the reason the fight went the distance is not that GGG is not so good, it's that Danny is better than people thought he was. Danny fought like an oversized Tim Bradley. Same elusiveness. The fight I want to see now is Jacobs - Lemieux.
