no knockdown then the fight should have been a majority draw

Hey jacobs got knocked on his butt fair and square no excuses. Probably cost Jacobs the fight. A draw would have pleased no one anywhere. Have the rematch in Russia then. The commie crowd will go wild bonkers for GGG.

Anybody thinks Golovkin won that fight DKSAB. Or you are just bias. Jacobs out boxed GGG period. I couldn't even see a draw. But that damn sure was not a unanimous decision. Good show Jacobs. You did not disappoint

I don't see it. Best case scenario, giving Jacobs every possible round he has any case for winning, he gets 6.

I think there might be something to what Danny said. Canelo vs GGG is a big money fight, the powers that be at HBO wouldn't like it very much if an Al Haymon boxer ruined that for them then went back to fighting on PBC.

Especially after Chocolatito took an L on the undercard. The network is running out of elite talent to hype up and sell.
          ???

What in the ****??? I like Cliff but seriously, what in the ****?

It's hard to say who won in my opinion. Ggg didn't seemed like himself and Jacob's didn't fight like he usually fights. It's annoying because you expect some fireworks from dynamic offensive fighters but it turns out to be a survival game. Jacob's seem like he couldn't get away from ggg jab though and he did slot of holding. More then I'm used to seeing him do.

I was there at the fight also, and close enough to see who was in control for that fight. Golovkin, whilst flat and too reserved, was not really troubled by Danny offensively. Jacobs just seemed to be commendably hanging in there - I am honestly amazed by the reaction on this site.
I feel like I watched the wrong fight or something. I'm completely confused by the **** I'm reading.

BoxNation and Sky Sports had Jacobs winning too. As did Steve Kim.

I was watching Boxnation and the commentators had Jacobs winning the fight. I was seeing the same thing. No way these guys are biased against their fellow Euro.

This is insane. I'm sorry, but it is. People are giving Jacobs way too much credit here. I can't think of any other reason for this.
