Nope you lost and were not robbed. Be happy as I know you are that you survived and broke the KO streak hahahahaComment

Danny you held up well and didn't get knocked out. You lost the fight, stay humble and be a professional. You deserve a rematch but you didn't win last night. Sorry. IMO the fight was pretty boring. You survived and lasted 12, more than the others. Be proud but not delusional.Comment

He fought hard for twelve rounds and never gassed - but you seem to think you're the ultimate authority on what division a professional boxer should compete in. Really???Comment

BoxingScene's Cliff Rold had it 9-3 for Jacobs. He didn't feel it was even close.
I think there might be something to what Danny said. Canelo vs GGG is a big money fight, the powers that be at HBO wouldn't like it very much if an Al Haymon boxer ruined that for them then went back to fighting on PBC.
Especially after Chocolatito took an L on the undercard. The network is running out of elite talent to hype up and sell.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 03-19-2017, 09:22 AM.Comment

There's nothing special about Cliff Rold's eyes. He could have been a boxing historian sent from the future to judge last night, and it still wouldn't give him an advantage in judging a fight over any average person who studies even for 5 days how to judge a boxing match and what to watch for.
With that said, the fix probably was in regardless if Jacobs would of done even better or not. This is boxing. We know how this works. You're right, HBO can't afford to have GG lose.
With THAT said, I'm not taking away any credit for Golovkin. I'm just saying, if Jacobs did a bit better and looked to be the winner.... i wouldn't of been surprised if Golovkin still got the deciisonComment

Jacobs by 2 rounds, take off one point and he still wins. Golovkin doesn't get an extra point.
If you scored it 7-5 (2 rounds) that would be 115-113, take off a point for the knockdown and it becomes 114-113.Comment
