Lemieux cheated. Jacobs didn't cheat by skipping the 2nd day weigh-in

If Lemieux told Stevens he wasn't going to weigh in the second day Stevens also had a choice not to weigh in the second day.But the cheating principle is the same, GGG expected Jacobs to meet that second day IBF weigh in, and he didn't.
The same factors that applied to stevens vs lemieux apply here too, because stevens also had to make the weight regardless if lemieux did or didn't, if he wanted to be part of the eliminator.
If Jacobs told GGG he wasn't weighing in the second day would GGG, the IBF champ, still have the weigh in?Comment

Wow. Some people confuse mandatory to voluntary.
In any case why is cheating applied to this case when it's entirely on each fighter's volition whether to go for it or not? This TS is not making any sense. Lemieux chose not to, why is that cheating?
Is this another racial bias or something?Comment

The context of the point I was referring to, was implying that WBA rules took precedence over everything.
This might have been the case had the WBA enforced the fight, but they didn't.
The voluntary agreement was to fight for Golovkins unified championship, as seen by the 3 sanctions. This fulfilled the WBAs requirement.
The fact Jacobs was the mandatory for the WBA has no bearing on the IBF weighin. It's not a difficult thing to understandComment

The WBA has ordered Gennady Golovkin, its Super World middleweight champ, to next face Danny Jacobs, its World middleweight titlist, in a title match.
“The 30-day negotiations period has started,” says WBA President Gilberto Mendoza Jr. “They have 120 days to do the fight.”
Should negotiations between Teams Golovkin and Jacobs collapse, the fight will go to purse bid.

That doesn't matter, but in theory yes, GGG could've said "**** it, I ain't giving him no advantages" and given up his belt, but in reality I think neither GGG nor Stevens would've skipped the IBF morning weigh in regardless of what their opponents did.Comment
