Ward would be throwing and ducking and rolling and then Kov would hug him and hold him. It even got to the point where Ward was straight jackin him! Here look at my right hand, I'm moving it in circles-and K would, then BAM! a left would land flush on Krusher's face. lmao. That was great. Anyone that just stares at a hand and gets cracked with the other hand, on more than one occasion especially, then that fighter can't whine and cry. Learn to protect yourself at all times.

He even knows it. "I can count my friends on one hand." Duh, no one ever taught him how to fight in close or protect himself and not fall for schoolyard tricks. That and his corner lying to him the whole fight. Just watch after the bell rang, Kov knew he lost. He just dropped his head in disappointment.

I remember Kov being mandatory for the WBC belt. I remember the WBC champ said lets do it. I remember Kov and Duva saying they were going to go to the purse bid and they were going to unify the titles. Then I remember Kov running off like a little girl. Like a scared little girl. "No, Daddy Superman, please no, I don't want that belt if you have it, I'm sorry Daddy." That's what she told Stevenson. Kov ran off like a girl, what a mother******. Thought he could whoop someone so much smaller than him. She thought wrong!
no surprise but you are remembering things wrong...

I'm saying that judges dont look at Compubox to score. they dont count punches landed with their fingers. they can't rewatch the fight in slow motion like we can. the criteria in the pros are: defense, effective aggression, clean punching and ring generalship. in the amateurs the only criteria is clean punching. the guy that makes those videos is judging pros like amateurs.

I had Ward turning the fight in his favor the second half. he controlled the pace and rarely got touched with Kovalevs right hand after round two. that's defense and ring generalship.

we can debate all day. I watched the fight with Spanish commentary to not be swayed and still have the same score as the judges. what was your card I wanna see what rounds exactly you gave to Kovalev.

      rd 1-2: Kov
      rd 3: Ward
      rd 4: Kov
      rd 5: Ward
      rd 6: Kov
      rd 7-9: Ward
      rd 10: Kov
      rd 11-12: Ward

At the end of the day, Ward has to give him this rematch. He won be able to live this one down unless he beats him decisively.

I just don't get Ward not wanting to give him a rematch and beat him decisively (if he can). If he wins another decision, I think he could retire with a lot of respect. He doesn't seem like he's scared of him, so maybe he's just lost the passion to fight.

Kovalov never lost. He beat the **** out of Ward. I think Mayweather, as per usual, paid off the judges...and collected on the win from the bookies. The bookies made Ward favorite because they knew the **** Mayweather was doing--has been doing--for years now.

Yep, that's why every judge gave had Kov up 40-35 after 4 rounds. One more knockdown and it woulda been over. If he coulda clearly won 2 rounds out of eight he woulda had a win. He didn't. Ward won the last 8 rounds. Don't matter if you get whooped, hurt, and knock downed once in the first four rounds, you can still win. Boxing is scored by rounds. Ward won at least 7, most thought he won the last 8 rounds. That is why he won.

Don't worry man, I ain't making fun of you, lots of casual fans don't realize how scoring works in boxing. But its by rounds, that's it. That is why Ward won. Yea, you gotta keep scoring rounds, even if you think in the 2nd round it is over.

No problem, glad I could help ya out. Keep watching boxing, you will love it. Just remember how the scoring works, and you'll really enjoy it.

What's the situation with all this disarray? Haven't been following post fight. Why wouldn't Ward rematch? Not like he has anything else going. Is this just each promotion d*ck measuring with no productivity as of yet to talk business? Like they say it takes two to tango.
Or is Kovalev genuine here trying to shame him into a rematch he may be running from?
Yes! I would LOVE to see them go at it, verbally, once the fight is booked. I just know that guys who shyt talk Ward during negotiations usually end up getting bent over a barrel, rather, the negotiating table.

As far as I can tell, the two sides are having a hard time agreeing, but they are negotiating. Same story with every fight that is getting made. Ward has said recently his focus is on Kovalev so I expect something soon. He's not one to waste effort on something that's not going to happen. Just about every fight since the Super 6 has been shrewdly negotiated.

The $5 mil had nothing to do with Duva or Main Events. That was between Ward and his promoter.

Kovalev and his team were in control the first fight. Ward is the A-side now and he and his team are in control. Deal with it. He
oh yeah they were in control for sure. a guy from russi could fight in either new york or vegas. tht doesnt favor ward in any way no sir. the judges all being american and hes figthing an american doesnt favor the american in any way. they were in control like you said. if that were true the fight would have happened in russia with 3 russia judges and kov walks away with an easy UD. they bent over backwards to get the coward in teh ring and his own promoter had to give him 3 million dollars. and the 5 million has a lot to do with the fight since ward wants more than that for the rematch so its his fault its not happening. stop blaming duva when its wards fault that his own promoter overpaid his diva ass. thats what happens when you spoil lil kids and thats what ward is. a lil kid. gimme gimme gimme. i want the super six in my favor. i want refs that will let me hold, headbutt, and lowblow. i want judges that are blind. i want to fight only in my coutnry. DUVA WAS IN CONTROL FOLKS!

It wasn't either New York of Vegas. It was anywhere but California and Russia. They could've fought in Antartica.
