I still firmly believe that after the KD, most people got it in their heads that Ward was going to lose. That's what I initially thought. The difference is that I still kept scoring the rounds with an open mind whereas others just couldn't look past the idea that Krusher was going to win acd they scored accordingly.

That said, it was close so I don't have a problem with people who think it could go either way, even if they have Kov winning.

only problem with this is that we can now go back and score the rounds with an open mind....and it was a clear kovalev victory. which 7 rounds did ward win? ill post up the rounds and you can explain how a round in which kovalev landed more and landed the better punches goes to ward. low blows? vicious body attack? controlling the ring or some sh-it? what is it?

the truth is you were the biased one who scored roudns to ward simply because you wanted him to win and nothing more. thats all there is to it. you cant pretend to be unbised and score it for ward. its just not possible. we have the video of the fight. you became emotional and made a narrative that ward was coming back into the fight. you ignored the quality of punch and instead gave more credence to lil body punches with nothing on them instead of looking at hte big picture which ws kov easily outboxing ward and putting him on the defensive.

Kovavlev sure is one whiny little *****. He lost to the better man. Nothing wrong with losing to the #1 p4p fighter in the world. It was close, it was a good fight, but those body shots devastated Kov. Kov was completely lost when Ward closed the distance on him. Ward would be throwing and ducking and rolling and then Kov would hug him and hold him. It even got to the point where Ward was straight jackin him! Here look at my right hand, I'm moving it in circles-and K would, then BAM! a left would land flush on Krusher's face. lmao. That was great. Anyone that just stares at a hand and gets cracked with the other hand, on more than one occasion especially, then that fighter can't whine and cry. Learn to protect yourself at all times.

this is pointless. you dont even realize how much of an advantage ward was starting with during the negotiations so whats the point? omg it could have been in vegas or new york what a choice for duva! she picked vegas it was her idea! im sure she would have chose russia if it was really up to her but she had limited options because ward will only fight in certain places. in order to get ward in teh ring you have to do whatever he wants. he simply will not take risks or travel as we know from the super six and turning down career high paydays. obv this benefits him a lot and the judges screwed up and gave him the fight, even messin up on clear rounds like roudn 10 so that right there tells you how important lil things like that being in wards favor matter.

kov landed just as good or better inside. you are trying to go with the ward dominated on the inside narrative but i have video of the fight so it wont work with me. a lot of his shots were low, or non scoring shots to the back, inside of the gloves, or simply low quality grazing shots with not much on them. meanwhile on the inside kov was scoring with tight hooks and well placed body shots.

Yeah, I have to agree, Ward's supposed "inside work" was atrocious and sloppy as hell, it was mostly over-clinching than in-fighting.

Vargas-Salido is inside fighting done right.

What's the situation with all this disarray? Haven't been following post fight. Why wouldn't Ward rematch? Not like he has anything else going. Is this just each promotion d*ck measuring with no productivity as of yet to talk business? Like they say it takes two to tango.
Or is Kovalev genuine here trying to shame him into a rematch he may be running from?
