Hes already hated a lot less than around 2006-2008ish, the boards were crazy with mayweather hate and there were a ton of people (not just pac fans) not giving him his due. Atleast these days he gets his due.

The longer past his retirement, the more highly he will be rated.

If you were on the boxing sites back when lennox lewis was active, you will remember the endless hate on him for being boring, "fighting scared", hugging too much ect. Now hes like a top 3 heavyweight of all time and people were begging for his comeback.

That hate switched over to vitali, blah blah hes robotic, ect. Now people miss him too and hate on wladimir, though thats going away.


Anyways point is that fighters will get rated more realistically once their career is over and the hate from fans of rival fighters will die down.
