    Don't buy it.

However, HBO has Canelo and nothing else. Unless they can convince him to fight 3-4 times a year, the viewing numbers won't improve.

      Done.
Crawford is booked vs TBA for May or June iirc. He's for sure making more than $1M by himself.

HBO paid Crawford $1.5 mil in his fight with Molina, who got $400K. Mikey Garcia got $700K for two fights. Two fights. Huge difference doe.

Thurman/Porter got $1.4 mil, $1 mil respectively. Just imagine Crawford fighting either Porter or Thurman.

Seems Santa Claus is gone in the PBC camp.

Oh yeah man. Crawford type purses are what PBC fighters strive to achieve LOL

Bro, I hate seeing these fighters get overpaid fighting cab drivers. I'm saying the trend in the PBC camp has been moving downward. Thurman got $1.5 mil in the Collazo fight plus a bonus of $1.8 mil, which One Time himself admitted. I was expecting Thurman to get at least $2 mil in the Porter fight, which was as close as it was on paper. He got less in the Porter fight. It's not a rosy picture doe.

You made the thread & the claim without any facts or details at all brother lol.

I figure its a good bet that HBO will have a similar or slightly lower budget as last year ($20M-$25M iirc) so I agree with your overall opinion, HBO Boxing is a sinking ship &/or doesn't have a long term outlook on boxing anymore, but idk about $10M being the budget this year. That'd be the biggest % drop in HBO's budget ever I'd assume & doesn't seem like a reasonable bottom budget to work with.

But before all that, you need fighters who don't overprice themselves. It's likely that HBO is cutting itself away from boxing slowly which is great because then the divas can learn what their true worth is.
