Barrera got a bad deal. He shouldn't have signed the contract if he wasn't happy though. You negotiate, and if both sides are happy (or at least come to a compromise), you sign.

If Barrera would have said originally that he didn't want to accept the purse of 60K, I honestly wouldn't have blamed him. This isn't a good look for him.

Barrera and his team knew what the situation was. He was hoping for a higher bid and when he didnt get it, he bailed.
