I don't care if Wlad was in his prime or not, the fact is he gassed out from doing so much work.

It wasn't a case of taking or not taking what Purity had to offer, it was a case of Wlad gassing out badly and Purity taking advantage of it.

The big difference though is that GGG will fight anyone at 160, whereas Wilder won't fight anyone at Heavy.

GGG is the one being ducked. Wilder isn't.

If GGG is being ducked at 160, why not go to a division where the top guys will fight him? Heavyweights are stuck fighting whoever is there. Non-heavyweights aren't.

GGG is not going to move up to S/Middle and let the chance of the Cenelo fight to pass him by.

And who is up there to really entice him? Degale? Smith? Groves? not exactly the big fights people are talking about. He might as well stay at Middle and get Eubank, Saunders, and hopefully the Canelo fight.

You're saying Wilder is only fighting what is on offer? Stop lying to yourself. He could get Haymon to start making offers to the top ten, but he's interested in no one other than cans and bums way down the rankings.

I didn't know there was a rule that said GGG couldn't move up to super middle, or better yet light heavy and make a superfight with either Ward or Kovalev. Then move back down and fight Canelo at whatever weight they decide on. That's exactly what Canelo is doing now.

As for Wilder, I've spent this entire thread pretty much trashing his level of competition. Not sure what you've been reading.

This is really well said. Moving up makes sense if there's a carrot being dangled in front of him, but he'd just be shifting from a below-average division, to one that's not much better.

Totally different story if there's a dominant fighter or a superfight to be made - but it just ain't there.

And with Wilder...I'm prepared for the worst. Zero expectations. If I don't expect a decent fight for him, I can't be disappointed when he fights another can.

Wilder is trash, GGG is Elite. Not just in boxing, in all parts of life, there's a reason GGG has Samsung, Apple, Jordan etc behind him with millions of fans worldwide and Wilder has bitchking err hitking as his fan.

Wilder and GGG are products of the era they're fighting in. GGG is only "elite" because the competition he's fighting is borderline pathetic. If GGG were fighting in the Jones, Hopkins, Toney era, he'd be far from elite. Matter of fact, he wouldn't even be competitive against either of those guys. He also couldn't have competed in the Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran era. So if you wanna label GGG "elite", you have to also accept that Wilder is a top heavyweight.

As for me being a "b1tch." I'm 100% positive that you can't treat me like a b1tch. If that's how you feel, that type of insult should be saved for face-2-face encounters. I attend fights all the time. So that won't be hard to arrange.

Parker's fighting Hughie Fury in May. So can't see the Wilder fight materialising

Why not try and make a superfight with either Ward or Kovalev? That fight does more for his legacy than any other fight in boxing.
