Damn, can't yall just be happy that the kid is starting up his professional career? I think both TR and MP would've had done a good job at promoting the kid. IDC for J.Prince and Ward's presence, but at least they'll be looking out for him. So the kid might be stubborn with signing contracts. Who really cares? The kid signed to TR, cong**** to him. I look forward to his future in this sport

herp derp, floyd asked him to. You think arum never charged him back for that 600k the next fight? you think it was free money?

floyd didnt have 600k laying around in those days.

Thats not the point. Arum had no obligation to pay the money until after the fight. If floyd would have lost his hand from steroid injections arum would have been a$$ed out of 600k which is not a small chunk of change even for bob arum. He saved mayweather

Shakur did the right thing and signed with a proven star maker.
Bob invests in his upcoming stars.

Floyd has not shown a willingness to invest big on anyone.

The 600k was an advance for j prince manager fees for mayweathers fight againt phillip ndou which was originally scheduled for september 2003 but mayweather had bob arum change the date of the fight to november which was after j princes manager contract expired. Mayweather was trying to screw prince out of the money so he asked arum to advance him the money. That is a lot of money to advance someone, he didnt have to do that

Yea floyd uses his name to gain the trust of these fighters who idolized floyd and he gets them to sign for less than they are worth.
