That is terrible on MP promotions if that is the case. Even if Floyd wasn't happy with the money (he sure do splurge on them thots who aint bringing no bread back, but the kid definitely would have), that could've been negotiated simply off the strength that the kid looks up to Floyd, and Floyd is celebrity enough that he can get him on TV somewhere outside of boxing use that to get the asking price down a bit.

If the fact that Stevenson knew he had options and was willing to look made Floyd throw in the towel, he won't have any shinning prospects for a while. But then again this is all outsider talk for now so I'm not for anything coming out of Ring magazine as it relates to anyone black in the sport.
