People always seem to have it in for SOMEBODY. Some people just like to argue. Frankly, I see Wilder and Golovkin as being very similar. Agreed in the point made about the contentious attitude towards fighters in general however disagree in the GGG comparison -- this guy been a champ at this weight for many years and has the option to move up in contrast Deontay Wilder has been champion since 2015 and injured for a good portion of that time and does not have the option to find quality opponents by moving up a division...lastly if Wilder had beat up a cruiser-weight challenging him for his WBC title as in Brook challenging GGG for his middleweight title just imagine the hate.

What happened was when Floyd retired they saw hope. So every time an American fighter begins to generate buzz they want to shoot him down as quickly as possible because of the nightmares Floyd's dominance gave them over the past 15 years. A certain group of fans are just insecure.

And now you're making my point for me. See how it works? You just had to argue a point when I mentioned GGG.
