we will have a better handle on Golovkin's drawing power after the Jacobs fight, but if they sell less than 200k no way could you speculate that Golovkin > Cotto

I agree that there will be more anticipation among hardcore fans for Canelo/Golovkin, but they are not responsible for most of the ticket sales..... Golovkin/Jacobs would need to sell 300-400k+ for that kind of speculation to be realistic

also..... Cotto is realistic, Golovkin is not..... Cotto would have likely taken that 15mil..... Cotto is a far better business decision for Canelo..... If $15 million is an insulting offer for GGG than Canelo can rematch Cotto, fight BJS for his strap, and if the first fight is exciting than a Chavez Jr. rematch can happen.
Canelo can make arguably more money by getting the majority of the pie against those guys than giving GGG what his team and delusional fans think he is worth.
Leverage is all about who has the better options, its clear who has the better options and who doesn't.
