Lol I literally laughed out loud when I read this. It don't even make me mad because you're either trolling hilariously, or you're a total fan boy. Either way it's funny as hell.

I thought he was going to be cruiserweight and heavyweight champ? That came from his own mouth. What happened? Did him "winning" against Kovalev somehow simultaneously show him he wasn't as good as he thought he was? Or what?

If Ward is so good why does he need to avoid a rematch with someone he "beat" in the first place though? It's the biggest money fight out there for him too, and the first fight is a stain on his legacy right now, so if Ward is #1 pound for POUND like he says, why does he need to be avoiding guys in his own weight class?

          • Ward beats Kovalev easier in the rematch

the better fighter will make the better adjustments, and the better fighter is Ward

having only 2 lower-level tuneups was inadequate preparation to face Kovalev following that stretch of inactivity..... Ward will be MUCH better with those 12 hard rounds under his belt, and with another specialist 175 camp at Mackie Shilstone

Kovalev has to bring something new to the fight, and then he will have to adjust..... something he failed to do the first time around

it doesn't get any easier for Kovalev, that's for sure

..... following that rematch, Ward will likely semi-retire..... before eventually making a comeback to cherry-pick a cruiserweight title against an opponent with a favorable style LMAO

              • ward has sure hurt a lot of feelings on this site lmaoooo, a fight between him and kov will always be close, no matter if he wins again they will still have something to say. I think he should rematch but im not the one who has been boxing for 20 years, hell my body was tired after college football and 2 years pro.

how is he a coward if he went up in weight n fought a guy everyone considered a beast????? weird logic but we shall see what happens.

A champion moving up and getting an immediate shot at a title happens all the time.
