I have to put up with talking about how many millions a certain fighter should accept or decline, rather than the statagem of boxing chess.
As far as i know if you are unified champion, that makes you undisputed champion. You can't dispute between the alphabet org's, given we just proved lineal is meaningless.

I think sugarkainhook felt left out becaue he wasn't included in the elite echelon of the hating crew..

Leonard beat Hagler, then fought at 165 vs Lalonde, then fought Hearns & Duran at 160. Then fought Norris at 154, then six years later fought Camacho at 159. If you're saying there's a time limit on how long Leonard had to fight at 160 again, that's a subjective rule you're making up. There is no rule, Leonard fought Hagler at 160 for 'that' lineal status and eventually lost at the weight class vs Camacho.

I am a big Canelo fan but I agree that the winner of this fight is the best middleweight in the world and the true middleweight champion of the world. Anyone who believes the "lineal champ" is important might as well believe in Santa, the Easter bunny and Peter Pan. Martinez, Cotto and Canelo all had a turn at being lineal middleweight champ over a stretch of several years. All three of them flatly refused to fight GGG who everybody but the most dedicated haters knew was the best middleweight in the world. He would have been at least a 3 to 1 favorite in Vegas to beat any of them. When the lineal champion isn't the best fighter in the weight class it becomes a joke. Spinks was the supposed lineal heavyweight champ for about two years until the true heavyweight champion, Tyson got him in the ring and KOed him in less than 60 seconds of the first round. GGG and Jacobs are clearly the 1st and 2nd best middleweights by accomplishments. GGG earns the number 1 spot by 16 successful title defenses all fought at the official 160 pounds and all won by KO. Jacobs is number 2 by virtue of 12 world title defenses all fought at 160 pounds and all won by KO. Canelo might beat both of them but the fact remains he never beat a boxer allowed to weigh in at 160 in his entire career. He isn't in the running as the real middleweight champion of the world.

If you have a brain and follow boxing, you don't need "lineal" or other connect the dots to know who THE CHAMP at MW is, and who is ducking him.
Look if you want to consider Canelo lineal, fine. Just means his lineal title is a joke. For me, he's vacated by fighting at Jr. MW and Jr. Cheeseburger. He's not defending the MW title.
IMO, Lineal is vacant, March 18 is #1 & #2, we'll see who THE champ at MW is

Your going to tell me with a straight face that bjs beats ggg????
The BJS who fought and only just beat a nobody and is holding the belt for ransom?
In construction gigs its last on, first off. It should be he same with alphabet orgs. The wbo formed last out of the 4 and should be the first to go out the 4.
The crappy wbo belt - the same one floyd threw in the bin after beating manny - has roughly the same legitimacy as the ibo belt.
I think we can all agree bjs is holding the belt for ransom (wants to be paid millions) when he is not worth it.
This is why CONela & GGG didn't fight him and now he's left standing by himself with his **** in his hand.
