I can only give you the Corley fight. That might have been stopped early but its debatable the rest were KO's or stopped correctly. Branco fight wasn't even a ref stoppage Branco himself stopped the fight.

You can't say Cotto is over-rated because NO ONE is claiming him to be P4P best the way they do PBF, Hatton, Pac and Winky. All people say is that he is a dangerous fighter who has faced solid (not yet elite fighters) and has knocked out most of them. To say that Cotto is a top contender is not over-rating Cotto its being honest.

Hatton and Winky are IMHO the most over-rated fighters. Hatton because other than beating a diminished Tzu he hasn't looked like a P4P champ, but he has looked good just not P4P like many of his propponents claim.

Winky IMHO is also over-rated, not as a champion but by people claiming he is 1,2 or 3 on the P4P list. Winky's 2 big fights were against a former WW and former lightweight in Tito and Shane. Just like Bernard who's wins were against past WW's.

I think Winky is a very good fighter but I think that he is over-hyped. I believe that just like Bernard found out that when against a real Middleweight like Taylor he will be beaten.

Dont even take this thread serously, its a Morales fan, who posted this right after I said Morales sucks, and that Guzman would beat him. Next thing you know he makes a thread. Overrated or not, Cotto is still kicking ass

By the way, Cotto has fought a real puncher: Torres who was 28-0 with 26 KO's. It doesnt matter if Torres KOed unknowns, anyone who KO's 26 out of 28 people is a power puncher. Torres was also named Hardest puncher in the 140 divison by Ring magazine (they probably know more about boxing than you do)

JCC jr. is 19 years old and had no amatuer career he needs time to build confidence and experience in the ring. Those 6 rounders are replacing the 3 rounders that he never had in the amatuers.

I have never liked Tarver, but I think you are missusing the word Overrated when you refer to these fighters.

Joan Guzman has tons of talent and has a good chin, he needs a little more polishing but the guy has great talent and huge potential.

I ponder that you are either young or are a recent boxing fan. Please watch more boxing before you post threads like this.
Cotto already is not the same fighter he was a year ago, if your so confident in him why didnt his promoter get him Floyd, or Ricky Hatton? because they know he will be knocked out by either one of those 2, or anyone TOP CALIBER fighter, Torres was not a top caliber fighter, at least not in my opinion. instead they got him Paul Malignaggi. what do u think about that, Pauli Malignaggi?!?!? what kind of **** is that? he will roll over Malignaggi and ppl will o0o0 and awww. Cotto has no chin, plain and simple. remember me when i tell you that when he fights jose luis castillo on Nov 11, he will get knocked out within 8 rounds. and JC Chavez, hes been a pro for 2 yrs now, come on, step up the competetion a bit, and Joan Guzman should have knocked his guy out in his last fight, but couldnt do it. I am 20 yrs old and have been watching boxing since i was 5, and i ponder you are either biased towards puerto ricans, are 75 yrs old, buy into what writers write on websites like this one

I said he is overrated by some. The corley stoppage was a bit early, but it was also an unimpressive preformance. Same with the Branco and Torres fight. THats what i was referring to when i mentioned those fights...I dont think Cotto is overrated by the majority, only by a small minority.

You must be joking. Guzman is a talent, but morales would kick his ass.

Well thats a two way street you can't just blame 1 fighter for not making a fight. Cotto has been stepping up his competition steadly and has been in with some extremely hard hitters, its understandable to take 1 fight against a boxer instead of taking another heavy ****er right away. Remember he is trying to have the Paulie fight as a setup for the Castillo fight.

Cotto has faced TOP CALIBER fighters but not Elite fighters. Maussa was undefeated when Cotto beat him and Maussa went on to win the WBA title off of Vivian Harris, that isn't TOP COMPETITION

Another thing.......Chavez jr had NO Amateur career and there bringing him around slowly he is 19yrs old. The only thing I wish is that I didn't have to watch is psuedo amateur career on the undercard of my PPV's but then again WHO in the world is hyping him up that people say he is over-hyped....**** the only thread on him that I've seen is one that talked about his fighting on PPV.

and by the way, what 5 world champions are you talking about? wbc international titles are not real titles, neither are wba international titles or ibf international titles, i dont even consider the lightly regarged wbo to be a real sanctioning body. you my friend, need to stop buying in to what writers write, as Bill O'reilly will say, you are a Kool Aid drinker
