Golota beat Byrd and Ruiz in the eyes of most. He got the shot against Ruiz because most felt that he beat Byrd. He got the shot with Brewster because most felt that he beat Ruiz (I still feel that was a corrupt- with a capital C- decision, there is no way in hell Ruiz won 9 rounds of that fight... 7-5 for Ruiz and Golota wins on points, 8-4 for Ruiz and Golota wins on points, they gave Ruiz the exact ammount of rounds he needed to win by a point, why? Because King knows Golota is a draw with or without a belt, and Ruiz is off the map and out of the picture without a belt).

Toney was totally gifted with a draw, everyone had him losing rather easily. I don't see Toney's performance against Rahman being anywhere near worthy of an immediate THIRD consecutive title shot.

I thought rahman won the fight but it was far from easy. he did take some clean shots from toney. rahman should have got the victory but it was a competitive fight

If you've seen some Toney interviews, he said Wlad & his people don't want any part of him. Toney manages himself, so if he says it, I believe it.

If this fight ever takes place, it will be because of Manny Steward.
