Nothing has been said from either camp. Looking at the schedule, I can see why.
You have Golovkin in March, Klitchko in April and Canelo in May. I forget who, but I thought there was another fight being talked about for June.

Basically, the earliest PPV date they'll get is July or August. And I'm not sure if HBO even wants to put this on PPV. The first match was OK, but there's nothing that says that a rematch will be more popular.

we wont know if the rematch is happening until both either of their next fights are announced so why the useless threads? how is ward a coward when he just got out of the ring with him and pretty much stood right in front of him for the rest of the fight?

Ward is the official Champ... He's the one to dictate the terms of when, how and where... He earned those rights...

Duva can cry out as much as she wants, she's the B side now... Maybe she should try to look somewhere else...

On the grand scale of ducks, where would ward wriggling out of a rematch clause rank? Would it define his career if he doesnt take the fight and instead retires?
That might well depend sir... I get a date with the finest girl i n school for the prom, and the deal is I pick her up in my dad's restored mint condition Porsche with air cooled engine. Prom night comes and dad says "I don't know about the car son" and everyone says "man why did you chicken out on that date bro?"

Ward is not paying to promote this fight. He might well hesitate eventually...So dad says "take the car that lady is fine" and then I say "well I don't know" well yeah! thats on me!! But until someone shows an interest in promoting the rematch, one can't blame Ward. If Ward ducks when the fight is made then sure he is to blame...I have not heard that anyone is interested in promoting this yet...

OK, he won the fight. Now run it back like you signed to do. Who is he even negotiating with? The money he's asking for does not exist. The fight only did 160K on PPV and neither guy is a major draw. Roc Nation came out of pocket to give him his $5 mil and will have to take an even bigger loss to bankroll his rematch demands.

Yes! Which is probably why Roc Nation, is not jumping in there trying to get this thing done. part of the problem is the unfortunate situation that this fight might not pay a profit. One cannot expect the guys to fight for peanuts either. I am beggining to think this fight is not economically feasable. I hope I am wrong. But that might not be Ward's fault.
