Wasn't aware that he was not in the CBP.

Haven't heard what the testing arrangements are for the fight.. but presumably Jacobs will have VADA testing throughout his camp. I'm hoping we all find out exactly what Jacobs agreed to do.

Not even PEDs would save Jacobs from a bone crushing knockout though.

This is a WBA mandatory fight between the regular champion and the super champion.

I am pretty sure the WBA doesn't give a **** based on how they operate.

The WBC has nothing to do with this fight as far as I am aware and probably not even on the line given that I doubt Jacobs wants to pay all those extra fees for what?

It's fair to be critical of the WBC and Sulaiman for a number of reasons, but they definitely deserve a tip of the cap for leading the charge against doping in boxing.

It instantly reminds me of a radio interview I heard last night, I think it was the head of the WTA - one of the tennis organizations. He was questioned about what tennis is doing to clean up the sport, and it was pointed out to him that at the latest Shangai Masters tournament - effectively the biggest non-major tournament, zero testing was done on the athletes. His response? "It's beneficial to be infrequent with testing, to discourage the systematic cheating". This shows me that even though it's 2017, basic principles of testing aren't even common.
Jose Sulaiman used to say that the fact they only had 15 positive tests in the 40+ years of their existence proved how clean a sport boxing was

I guess we'll find out in time. Brook was first tested 6 weeks out from the Golovkin fight, which is 18 days after the fight was announced. Hopefully VADA start testing soon and announce it.

Danny Jacobs is a privileged African-American fighter and doesn't need to do VADA.

He'll need every possible advantage to beat Golovkin.

Does his race really have any relevance to do in regards to testing?
