for years people on various boxing sites have made threads against champions who went up in weight and constantly won but the smallest criticism of geeGgee means ur a troll, a racist, and u hate boxing. this is terrible

It is not like 168 is a great division with any big fights for him anyway... who knows, Jacobs might beat him...

Khan and Canelo are the same height. Think they are the same size? Lol
This is common knowledge bro. How the *** can you have 8k posts on a BOXING forum and still think that height = size? Seriously..
That being said I dont think he is that small. He is a solid middleweight that keeps in shape year round
because he's obsessed with Golovkin. I'd bet a steak that at least 90% of his waking thoughts are somehow related to GGG.
But then again, his posting history isnt exactly "mensa" type content either, so maybe he does actually believe that Diego Corrales was bigger than Mike Tyson..........

Golovkin weighs between 170-173 on fight night. Here are fight night weights of other MW's below to show you he isn't small at all.
Martinez - 165, 168
Proksa - 166
Zbik - 165
Taylor - 166, 169, 171
Lee - 167.5
Pavlik - 168, 171
Hopkins - 166, 168, 169
Wright - 168
Barker - 168
Jacobs - 170
Pirog - 170
Quillin - 170
Macklin - 172
Monroe - 172
Miranda - 173
Korobov - 173, 174
As you can see Golovkin isn't a small MW at all, so can we stop the nonsense.
All weights taken from this very helpful site.

Golovkin fought at Middleweight in the Amateurs and turned pro at middleweight and still fights at middleweight. He has no issues making weight at age 35. Most fighters grow out of divisions because they cannot make weight without doing damage to their bodies or effecting their performance, Golovkin does not have that problem because he isn't cutting 15-20 lbs like most middleweights. Most of the time he comes into camp needing to lose 7-8 pounds but loses about ten. And weighs in at 158-159 at official weigh ins and with IBF rules cannot re-hydrate more than 10% on fight night. Where as other fighters BJS for example look like holocaust victims at weigh in. Golovkin doesn't.

I do agree that he isnt that small of a middleweight. Solid middleweight. What I dont get is how he is ducking Ward who has never been in the same weightclass as him.. Ward cant even make 168 now and people are still bringing him up. Ward should concentrate on not ducking the Kovalev rematch IMO
