This dude is turning more and more into a diva than he was before. I've never heard anyone call kovalev invincible...he's trying to justify that he dominated the fight for 12 rounds...he already said that kovalev was the first to drop him in his career, i guess the darnell one was a slip and the ref made the wrong call...GTFOH

you are glad the boring diva who is extremely reluctant to fight got the win? if kov got a gift you think he would be delaying the rematch, thinking about retiring, etc...this bad decision unfortunately sets back the division and now we have to wait for a rematch or until ward "retires" to pursue good fights. the up and coming guys like gvodzk, beterbiev, and joe smith have to wait around and stevenson has more excuses as to why he can't take the fight. so while you may be glad for ward since you like him for some odd reason, cant be glad about the ramifications but once again boxing gets it wrong.Last edited by daggum; 01-08-2017, 06:30 PM.Comment

And was paid $5 million compared to Sergey's $2 million.
Andre Ward has been a very privileged boxer, yet he doesn't appreciate it.
He's far too selfish, dishonest and arrogant to go around claiming to be the Son of God.
He's benefited from robberies in the Olympics and pros. He refuses to face a decent opponent in the pros without home advantage and home country officials who favor him.
He's been VERY lucky so far, but one of these days his luck will run out.Comment

Save the troll effort. It won't work. You're smart, I believe you truly are. Let's discuss the fight at hand.. I won't assume what Kov would have done. His team, don't forget, backed out of a purse bid that his promoter pushed for. Luckily for boxing fans, we still ended up seeing the great Kov defend his titles.you are glad the boring diva who is extremely reluctant to fight got the win? if kov got a gift you think he would be delaying the rematch, thinking about retiring, etc...this bad decision unfortunately sets back the division and now we have to wait for a rematch or until ward "retires" to pursue good fights. the up and coming guys like gvodzk, beterbiev, and joe smith have to wait around and stevenson has more excuses as to why he can't take the fight. so while you may be glad for ward since you like him for some odd reason, cant be glad about the ramifications but once again boxing gets it wrong.
What ramifications exactly? Kov will bounce back. I know he will. Artur will keep getting bigger fights. Joe Smith might break out even more than he did this past year and hopefully Alvarez gets Stevenson and knocks him off the ranks.
I swear some guys act like this fight was some sort of black eye to boxing. Where's the black eye to boxing? You think this decision, of all the ones boxing has had, is a black eye to the LHW division? Get out of here. Your opinion on what you call a "bad decision" isn't the end all.
Hell, I remember Duva was talking about if Ward won, they'd take that rematch in a hearbeat.. However, if Kov were to win, they'd have to think about it. So, yeah.. move on. Good fight, disputed decision and move on. This division isn't dead because you think the "diva" got a giftLast edited by hhs661; 01-08-2017, 06:44 PM.Comment
