And you didn't mention also in the Rios fight that Manny was coming off with a knockout loss against Marquez and was only fighting him as a tune up bout to see if he can still fight at World level. And? Like I said, matches that made the most sense where there is no other fighters left because the Floyd fight wasn't going to be made. Margarito was made so that Pac would fight Paul Williams, and to see if he could fight a much bigger fighter. After Paul Williams got KTFO by Martinez, they had no options and had to lead with Shane Mosley because Marquez was not yet moving up and the Floyd fight negotiation was stale.

You tried this spin before and it didn't work. I said those fights were all easier than a Floyd fight. He took them instead of risking losing to Floyd.

The same thing is happening now-Vargas and Horn (if it happens) are both easier fights than risking losing to Crawford.
