He needs to fight Kovalev again. And Beterviev this year if he wants to be an all time great.

The guy sat out numerous years after losing like 3 times in court over his contract. If the guy didn't die Andre may never have fought again, who knows. I think guys like Ward and Mikey Garcia don't love the sport anymore, they just do it because it's what earns them money and they need to live. Once those guys feel they have enough, they're out, and there's nothing wrong with that I guess, just don't cry about being mistreated or not being put on a pedestal like other former greats when you've been fairly paid and adorned since turning pro..

There is winning in the ring and winning on paper. In ideal world they always coincide. Unfortunately we do not live in ideal world and unfair decisions happen.

... he doesn't retire... but he may make Kovalev take another fight instead of the "rematch"...

Ward will retire and come back to fight Stevenson. It is the only way out of the rematch clause

Unfortunately if Ward retires this will be remembered like Ray Leonard vs Hagler.

Controversial. but Ray will always have that W over Hagler.

Even more so here because Kovalev is not even American. so when documentaries are made... it's going to be in Ward's favor unfortunately.

"I've accomplished everything" Most of the boxing world thought you lost the fight of your life. Avenge it and be a champion.

Dan Raphael in his chat last week said about 75% of boxing analysts had it 115-112 for kovalev. The same score I had.

If not a robbery, it's a stain on Wards legacy.
howd he come up with those #'s....also do you factor in the cards on this site, publications, media sites, and the people AT the fight who scored it?

75% of boxing analyst did not have kovalev winning....
