How do you sort it out then ? Duva has nothing to put on the negotiation table for now... So she has to beg and can't be too greedy... Montreal is where the money is for them ... So HBO sucks it up or they look like fools like the first time. My bet is they'll look like fools again ...

Wtf are you on about? The WBC ranked Kovalev because he doesn't hold any other titles now. That doesn't mean they're going to put a gun to his head and say "Now you gotta fight Stevenson, so go to Montreal and beg for it" Lol.

Here's the real story...

On Duva's request the WBC made the first Kovalev/Pascal fight a Mando fight for Stevenson, thus giving Kovalev the #1 in WBC LHW rankings and ordering negotiations for the fight ...

After the early negotiations obviously going nowhere, the WBC called for a purse bid to make the fight happen and to get the best deal possible for for parties... ...

HBO bailed out because they knew that Haymon/Showtime would outbid them easily and that was the end of it all...

All the smart talk from Duva since then have been dust in the wind to try to make them looked good and nothing else...
