Sometimes I think these sanctioning body presidents are elected by how well everyone in the organization thinks they can pull in money. Sulaiman doesn't think anyone needs a break. He just wants more cashish in his bank account.

I guess just so there ends up being a Kovalev/Stevenson fight and a Kovalev/Ward rematch, we'll put up with the Sulaiman cash grab, eh?

Hope Ward wins the rematch and runs away with the titles, that way Kovalev won't be able to duck the purse bid with Stevenson again. Tired of he and Duva's cowardly asses making up all the excuses in and out of the book.

The organizations do not rank the champions of the other organizations.

Now that Kovalev is not a champion, he's once again eligible for the WBC rankings and obviously deserves to be highly ranked.

What is there to complain about here?

Boxing fans stay complaining about the most irrelevant things (I know I'm about to complain about something irrelevant). If all sanctioning bodies ranked all boxers, where would Kov be rated? At about this spot. So people are complaining that Kov is rated at a spot that he should be rated at? That's ridiculous... Also, this increases the likelihood of an already improbable fight. Ward vs. Kov should happen, so this won't result in any changes as far as that goes, but this does give a chance to see the Kov-Stevenson fight people were crying about not seeing years ago. Geez! Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I guess it makes more sense to say that Kov isn't a top 15 fighter in the division. Ridiculous.

Ward can not get out of the rematch with Kovalev unless he retires. If Ward retires it is a duck. And Kovalev will fight for the vacant belts next. Move on. Ward is a has been.

Ward don't want no rematch with Kovalev because he is still hurting from the beating Kovalev laid on him. Ward will duck the mandatory rematch in the contract. Ward will duck it by retiring. And when Ward retires it will have been Kovalev who retired him. Kovalev will then fight for the vacant titles and Ward will be a very distant memory, as he should be.

We're going to see more and more of Orgs bidding for fighters, effectively.

Boxers are just mercenaries bought in to fight for trinkets on behalf of whatever Org promises them the best avenue to money.
