I'll go with 150K. In the last year Canelo's numbers against Smith showed people are getting tired of the BS but then Ward-Kovalev showed that even a great fight isn't going to do well unless you have a name involved who casuals will get excited for. People do like Golovkin but is his popularity in the US significantly higher than it was for the Lemieux fight? Doesn't seem like it, and Jacobs could maybe sell the fight as him being a big underdog American fighter against the indestructible favourite and get people behind him. But I think it does a bit less than Ward-Kovalev did.

Not a great time to be putting on a PPV IMO and the numbers will reflect that. People seem tired of it especially for fights that seem like they would've been on regular HBO/Showtime only a few years ago.

It would be lucky to break 100k.

Jacobs can't even draw on regular TV as witnessed so...

Golovkin is a bigger name than Ward and Kovalev.
And people will get ACTION. On a Ward fight you know there's a big chance that you get zero to none action. I wouldn't buy a Ward fight ever.

It will sell out because both fighters are known in New York but the ppv will do less than 200

My point was that it would do 200 give or take. 175-225k ish. I voted 200 in the poll.

Unfortunately, a huge % of PPV buyers are black. white people are not PPV buyers unless you break into the casual market.

This reality will ensure PPV buys are low because they don't want to watch a cracker mug another one of their own. This fight is not really close heads up.
